Macho King response promo (with Sherri): Oooo ya Rick Rude the time is nigh ya you had your fun ya you had your ride ya because at the Royal Rumble you and I will be stepping in the ring, outside we'll shake hands ya but in the ring ya I'll beat you down like the punk that you are ooo ya! Gorilla: Apparently the WWF Champion may not be so interested in you... Heenan: We'll see about that...

After a bloody battle, the ref gets knocked down and General Adnan throws something into Hulk's face (Vince thinks it's "acid") that ignites with Hulk falling down screaming "it's burning!". Slaughter grabs the American flag pole and starts to choke out Hulk Hogan in the style of a camel clutch. Hulk's face is partly blackened and bloodied. Hulk is out of it as the ref is up and calls for the bell. WWF Officials rush out to stop Slaughter but he won't stop. Slaughter swings the flag pole around striking Officials. Slaughter leaves with Hulk being taken out on a stretcher. Fans are utterly shocked, some kids in tears, they're very silent. In a post-match promo Slaughter says he just destroyed America's greatest hero, and will soon take away America's greatest prize. Macho is on the offensive, making sure Rude won't get a chance. Rude fires back and lands a big clothesline. The fans are on the side of Rude for the first time. Macho strikes Rude from the back and takes Rude from corner to corner, landing punches and working on his neck. Rude is hurt, the fans are behind him, Rude manages to counter a hold and drops a german suplex on Randy. Sherri passes something to Randy. As the match continues Randy has the object in his tights. Rude tries to go for a Rude Awakening, but Randy grabs the object and strikes Rude between the eyes! The ref didn't notice as he was distracted by Sherri. Randy goes to the top rope and signals his finisher and jumps but Rude moved out of the way. As both men struggle to get back up Rude makes a desperate Rude's Awakening for the pin and win. Prime Time Wrestling January 21st, 1991 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan
The Main Event V is heavily advertised for February 1st, 1991. Hulk Hogan is getting "plastic surgery" after the vicious attack by Sgt. Slaughter at the Royal Rumble and General Adnan is believed to have attacked Hulk with a "chemical attack", the WWF is "investigating" it as to whether they will suspend Slaughter. Slaughter comes out to speak to Mean Gene on stage. Slaughter says he destroyed Hulk Hogan at the Royal Rumble, and that American's greatest hero is defeated. And just like Kuwait has fallen so will the United States. Slaughter gets a new pair of boots from Saddam for destroying Hulk Hogan. Slaughter says he has one more thing left to do and that is take away America's greatest prize, the WWF Championship belt, and he will take it and personally give it to Saddam as a gift. Mean Gene is disgusted and asks Slaughter if he is looking to challenge the WWF Champion. Rude comes out with the WWF title and on his own. Rick Rude: First of all, look at you, you sweat like a hog when you speak (fans cheer), you can tell all of your out of shape good for nothing half-men in that country you seem so proud of to hide because America is coming for ya... Slaughter: How dare you... Rude: And tell their ugly wives to look at the TV screen and see the body they could only dream of having (takes off his robe and flexes) and it's only in America baby... Slaughter: Let me tell you something there Rick Rude (Adnan starts to back away and turns behind Rude), the world saw America's greatest hero fall, his blood still drips because that's what's going to happen... Rude: Why don't you just shut your... Suddenly Adnan strikes Rude in the back with the gifted boot! Slaughter kicks down Rude who rolls over the stage. Slaughter: (laughs) look at America's champion, look at him! He's a loser, so what do you say America, what do you say Rick Rude, do you accept my challenge, will you give me a shot at the gold at Wrestlemania? Or are ya yellow? (leaves to much heat).

The Main Event V February 1st, 1991 Live on NBC Hosts: Vince McMahon and Roddy PiperSgt. Slaughter (w/Adnan) def. The Ultimate Warrior via Countout. Warrior came out with the red, white and blue and had the advantage early on, but later in the match after the ref was knocked out, Adnan threw something into Warrior's face but it looked more like powder, as Warrior fell to the outside. Slaughter lands piledriver on the ground only to win by countout. Slaughter celebrates as Warrior is helped to the back. Post match promo with Slaughter and Mean Gene: Gene: I can't believe you would stoop so low like Pearl Harbor there... Slaughter: Pearl Harbor is proof that America was and is weak. Gene: We won the war bud... Slaughter: That was when America had some guts, now it has nothing but wimps and tonight I destroyed America's only chance at stopping me. The Warrior has been defeated... Gene: By countout... Slaughter: A win is a win Gene, it doesn't matter how it's done it's a win and I want my answer now, will I have my title shot or not? Or is Rick Rude too scared to face me in the ring? (laughs and leaves) Gene: Rick Rude, I can't believe I'm saying this, America needs you more than ever. Later in the show with Mean Gene and President Jack Tunney are in the back, Tunney says that he planned to suspend Slaughter for what he did with Hulk Hogan, but Hulk keeps insisting not to let Slaughter be suspended. He has spoken to Hulk over the phone and Hulk is doing better, but is in no condition to wrestle at this time. Tunney says that he has made a decision and will allow Rick Rude a chance to accept a challenge from Slaughter. Suddenly Bobby Heenan shows up. Heenan: He will not accept! He won't that's right... Gene: Wait just a minute, Bobby are you still managing Rick Rude because we haven't seen you with him for a while now... Heenan: He's still under contract with me, so as his manager I say no. Rick Rude will not face Sgt. Slaughter. Rude shows up scaring Heenan. Heenan: What the heck are you doing here. Rude: You're fired. Heenan: What! (slaps Rude, Rude shoves Heenan down who runs off in tears). Rude: And as for you Sgt. Slaughter I came down here for one reason and one reason alone, to accept your challenge at Wrestlemania for the WWF Championship (leaves) Tunney: Well there you have it we have an answer. Gene: Unbelievable this is going to be a big one!

Prime Time Wrestling February 18th, 1991 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Bobby HeenanPrime Time has gone through the new format in front of a live studio audience, killing the legendary Prime Time format (which was far superior in every way). Vince calls out Sgt. Slaughter with General Adnan. Vince: Slaughter, we are over a month away from Wrestlemania VII. Rick Rude has accepted your challenge for the WWF Championship, how will you take on such a tough competitor... Slaughter: (laughs) Rude is a nobody (Heenan rejoices), I destroyed Hulk Hogan, I defeated the Ultimate Warrior, there is no one who can stop me. Just like there is no one to stop Saddam (get a lot of heat). Look even Bobby Heenan agrees with me... Vince: I disagree with you Slaughter you have to admit, Rick Rude won the WWF Championship from the Ultimate Warrior, defeated Roddy Piper fair and square, pinned the Macho King... Heenan: You're mistaken Vince, Rick Rude is weaker than ever. There is only one reason why he achieved much in such a short period of time because I was his manager. It was all me! Slaughter: That's right without the Brain, all Rude has is muscle and at Wrestlemania VII I will squeeze the life out of him, lock him up in the camel clutch, and take the WWF Championship belt to Iraq where it will be handed over to Saddam himself! Vince: So you will relinquish the WWF Championship? Slaughter: It will send a message to the whole world not to mess with someone like me and Saddam and that's an order!

Prime Time Wrestling February 25th, 1991 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan
Vince calls out Rick Rude to the live audience format of the show. Bobby Heenan runs up the stairs in the audience and hides behind an old lady. Vince: Rick we are just weeks away from what could be your biggest title defense yet. Rude: Well Sgt. Slaughter, choke down on that last Hershey bar, grow that beer belly of yours, because at Wrestlemania VII, it'll be time to do battle, no it's time to end this war. You see you forget who you're dealing with, you forget I am the most finely tuned athlete in the world, I've the strength and stamina, and such an endurance that after a long night of passion with a beautiful woman she'll be begging on her knees to never let me go. Vince: O ya! (Vince gets excited) Talking about Sgt. Slaughter keep in mind that he has a one General Adnan in his corner. Rude: I'm not worried about him, I know what he's capable of and we've seen it before. But that's the thing that makes you weak Sgt. Slaughter, because Adnan's a lot of weight you gotta carry on your back day in and day out, and I feel more free than ever of getting rid of that Weasel Bobby Heenan. Heenan: (stands in the crowd) Who are you calling Weasel? Rude: (laughs) Why don't you get down here and we'll have a talk (Heenan hides behind another guest) What did I say, now that the Weasal is out of my way, after Wrestlemania VII, when it's all set and done, Sgt. Slaughter you'll know the true meaning of survival of the fittest.

Prime Time Wrestling March 26th, 1991 SPECIAL: Wrestlemania VII Party Edition Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas Hosts: Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan
Vince says he's shocked at the actions of Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania VII and why he would betray Rick Rude (they try to downplay Hogan "betraying America"). Vince announces The Main Event VI (instead of SNME) for April 15th where he personally will be interviewing Hulk Hogan to find out what happened. During the show Macho Man and Elizabeth who reunited at Wrestlemania have a slow dance, after the dance Macho Man says he wants to slap Hogan right across the face and that Rude is the real WWF Champion. Vince reminds everyone that Rude walked out of the arena looking for Hogan but also left with the WWF Championship belt. Vince says that Slaughter had this to say: "I won the WWF Championship fair and square, I was supposed to fly to Baghdad tonight to hand over the WWF Championship belt, the greatest prize in America to Saddam, but instead Rick Rude, like all the puny and weak Americans proved himself to be a sore loser, the sorest of them all! So I'm petitioning Jack Tunney to hand over the WWF Championship belt to me because it belongs to me!" Jack Tunney's response promo:"It has come to my attention that Ravishing Rick Rude left the LA Memorial arena with the WWF Championship belt. Based on WWF rules and regulations, and since Sgt. Slaughter did in fact win the match at Wrestlemania VII, Rick Rude will have to hand over the WWF Championship belt or face suspension." Rick Rude response promo:"(has the WWF title with him) There is no way in the deepest darkest places of hell am I going to hand over the WWF Championship belt. You'll have to throw me in the desert, break my bones, make me bleed, burn me at the stake, or tear me into smithereens because there is no way I'm going to hand over this belt to that good for nothing Sgt. Slaughter who did not win fair and square so I'm demanding you Jack Tunney to take action, you saw the video tapes, you saw how he used brass knuckles in the ring to cheat his way, you saw how I NEVER SUBMITTED and as for you Hulk Hogan if you think I forgot what you did, just remember I'm coming for you. One way or another, you're toast." Later in the show Jack Tunney makes an announcement:"After careful consideration and in talks with WWF Officials, we have two announcements to make. The first is that let it be known on record that Sgt. Slaughter did in fact win the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania. However, we have decided that because of what transpired that night and how the match took place, at The Main Event VI, live on NBC on April 15th, Rick Rude will take on Sgt. Slaughter in a Steel Cage match to determine who is the true WWF Champion. Thank you". Sgt. Slaughter promo:
"(after Adnan speaks Arabic) How dare you Jack Tunney, I made a demand that I should take the WWF Championship belt, I made a promise to Saddam and that promise will be kept! It belongs to me you said I am the champion! I am the winner! So this is what America is about? You want to put me in a steel cage match? It won't stop me mark my words I will have that belt and I will hand it over to Saddam!"

21. Ultimate Warrior joins WCW in 1992
On November 21st, 1992 the Ultimate Warrior left the WWF due to the use of growth hormones. Despite Warrior's issues with guys like Bill Watts, the booker at the time in WCW, Warrior was willing to talk to WCW and gave them a call. Although it seemed that WCW wasn't looking to take on Warrior at first, Ted Turner took notice that even though he wasn't Hulk Hogan, he was someone the WCW should take on. Warrior gets some creative control to protect his character as a move to counter Bill Watts from abusing him in any way. And so we begin this diary with the Warrior making a shocking appearance at Starrcade 1992, surprising Vince McMahon and many wrestling fans around the world....

JR is saying how Windham is showing poor sportsmanship and Ventura plays it off as Windham just showing what it means to be in America. Windham continues the assault till suddenly the crowd erupts as the ULTIMATE WARRIOR rushes out! JR and Ventura are in shock. Warrior runs into the ring and clotheslines Windham three times from the ropes as Windham rolls on out and Warrior closes the show off celebrating with the Great Muta.

WCW Saturday Night January 2nd, 1993 Hosts: Jim Ross and Larry Zybsko
They announce that Vader defeated Ron Simmons in Baltimore to become the NEW WCW World Heavyweight Champion. They also talk about Starrcade 92 and the shocking debut of The Warrior (no Ultimate) who saved The Great Muta from Barry Windham. Barry Windham promo: "You know something I got a lot on my mind, I got the United States Heavyweight Championship Tournament to focus on when I beat Johnny B. Badd tonight in our tournament match, but then there is this man they call The Warrior. You got no business being in the WCW, you got no business laying your hands on me. I hear you come from parts unknown well how about you come down to my ring and face me like a man. No surprises, no gimmicks because we don't deal with that nonsense here in the WCW, so next week on Saturday Night I'm asking for you to come to me face to face, man to man because I got a few words for you boy."

WCW Saturday Night January 9th, 1993 Hosts: Jim Ross and Larry ZybskoBarry Windham enters the ring before his US tournament qualifying match to take on Ricky Steamboat. Windham gets n the mic and calls out the Warrior. Warrior doesn't show up. Windham challenges Warrior to a match at Clash of the Champions XXII this Wednesday night and if the Warrior doesn't show again he'll make sure that the WCW will fire Warrior before he even steps in the ring in his debut match. During the match with Steamboat, Windham purposely knocks out referee Nick Patrick. Steamboat gets in a crossbody but doesn't get the pin. Steamboat tries to wake the ref, but Windham lands a massive jumping DDT. Suddenly the Warrior appears! He rushes out so quickly but Windham manages to get the upperhand as Warrior goes around the ring and Windham tries to take him down. Warrior gets pumped and punches Windham to the mat. The Hollywood Blonds (Austin & Pillman) run out to help Windham out and the Warrior knocks them both out of the ring! The match ends with Steamboat getting the DQ win and Warrior holding up Steamboat's hands.
