Announced on the major WF pod these will not be coming to GameStop but will be available on Target.com sold together as a package deal. Did they happen to say when they will become available online? |

Announced on the major WF pod these will not be coming to GameStop but will be available on Target.com sold together as a package deal. Did they happen to say when they will become available online? I don’t recall them saying. If it’s anything like how they handled Rooster then they will announce a date a year from now, then it won’t go on sale on the date they announced, then a week later they’ll list a preorder to ship 2 months later. |

Did Gamestop decide to stop carrying them or did Mattel just outright cancel them? Never expected this line to last very long, but it honestly had potential in my opinion.

No offense to OP or his Gamestop but I can tell you from experience most of those employees have ZERO clue what they are talking about. No offense taken, and I totally agree. But from what I was told and from what everyone on here has been hearing/saying for the last 3 months, combined with GS doing all they can to get rid of every single Retrofest figure they have left, I assumed it must be true. |

Probably for the best, at least collectors can still get them. Target usually runs some kind of sale, so you can probably pick them up for a good price. If Gamestop ran a report of how many Retro fest figures sold at regular price compared to clearance, I'm sure the clearance percentage would be a lot greater.

I liked that the series came in arcade game packaging and was exclusive to a game store. I can't imagine how you could do that with any other store. The first thing that pops into my head when someone says Walmart is box of wine. Don't think they would ever put wrestling figures in that kind of packaging.

Was a cool series. Would always pick one up when they were released and then more when they went on clearance. Don’t like the fact that you have to buy them together, doesn’t seem like a smart move unless it’s at a significant discount. Wish there was an ETA on these.

We have been waiting months for news on the release of these figures and this is the crap we get- Target.com and only sold together in a package?! Once again international collectors get the shaft- why does this company not know how to properly distribute their products?? I knew something was not right when the ebay seller popped up selling the Mr. Perfect figure and somehow had a huge quantity of figures (it has to be some sort of liquidator, how else could someone get a huge stock of figures that had not even been released yet?!). Is there any hope that Ringside might get in some more Mr. Perfect figures?! |
