Holy crap I went all these years without knowing Strike Force and The Ultimate Warrior teamed up! This feud was just before my time so I missed out on it when it happened, but Tito was always a favorite of mine as a kid. So thanks for posting that my good sir, it is cool watching it on my computer, but do you know if this match is on the network? Demolition were so good no matter if they were the heels or the faces. I do prefer them as face though as that was what they were when I started watching. I think a lot of newer fans do not realize just how insanely over Demolition were in 89-90. It is actually. It's on the Prime Time 6-13-88 episode. And hell yeah Demo was over like crazy during those years. That pop at Mania VI still gives me goosebumps Thanks man, I will have that as my Friday night viewing Their pop at WrestleMania 6 was only behind Warrior and Hogan!

Demolition worked very well with smaller teams like Strike Force and Hart Foundation. Their matches with big teams like Powers of Pain and Twin Towers were slow and plodding.

Jake ''The Snake'' Roberts vs Andre The GiantThese two would start their feud in the Fall of 1988 on SNME as Jake fought Rick Rude in the final match of their feud that started in the Spring.Andre post match would be standing in the ring when he would be cornered by Jake and Damien.Lets say the end result wasn't a pleasant one for the big man! Great selling by Andre here. And we're off with this one.At SSeries that year Andre would get revenge as his team defeated Jakes team. The feud would rage on as these two would face each other on the house show circuit with matches in Philly,NY,LA etc. At the Rumble that January Jake would strike with Damien again as after he was eliminated by Andre he would come back a few minutes to get his revenge as Andre eliminated himself at the sight of the snake!Andre running for his life was gold here plus you add in Jesse/Gorilla on commentary putting it over just all around great stuff. These two had to settle this thing and that's what we would we get at WM V. Big John Studd who came back in late 88 as a babyface would be the ref in this thing.Nice add on with his history with Andre. The match itself was bad as Andre was in real bad shape. You can see many times in the match him wincing in pain.Props to the big man for getting through it.
The feud would end here as Jake would go on to feud with Ted DiBiase(who tried to steal Damien here) and Andre who would feud with old foe John Studd.I liked how they started both feuds here during the end of their own feud. Overall...Very entertaining stuff here. Andre selling his fear of snakes and you got Jake gold as usual in the promo department makes this feud a success in my book.

I am glad you mentioned Andre's selling here. He really made this seem like a real phobia and his facial expressions were very well done. Even with his limited physical abilities during this time, he made the best of it he could.

Even with his limited physical abilities during this time, he made the best of it he could. So he really wasn’t afraid of snakes? This was a great feud and it actually made the cover of one of the Apter magazines. The match at Wrestlemania 5 wasn’t good, but that’s ok. Not everything has to be about in ring work.

Actually 3 of Andres team were eliminated. Jake eliminated Rude with an outta nowhere DDT and Andre choked Jake out way past a 5 count to earn a DQ.

Good feud here, the majority of it was the buildup. Unfortunately, because of Andre's condition, the match was not good. I did like the inclusion of John Studd in the match at WM5, I liked how Andre entered the ring just staring at him, really sold the animosity between the two. I also think Andre did a great job selling his fear of snakes, really helped the feud out.
For future feuds, since were talking about Jake, how about his feud with Rick Rude or Ted DiBiase?

Coming up on the CFD... That's awesome! Still have the Jake from all those years ago. Had to replace my DiBiase, though. WWF Hasbro 90-94 is still my favorite toy line.

Jake Roberts vs Ted DiBiaseIt was at WM V in which this feud would begin as during the match with Jake and Andre , Ted DiBiase would come down and attempt to steal Damien but before he could get to the dressing room Jake caught up with em and got his bag back. Poor Virgil took a stiff suplex for his troubles here. From there this feud was set in motion. That May on Superstars Jaker was supposed to face DiBiase one on one but the money man would proclaim he's ''sick'' so with that Virgil was the man for the job.In the end though it was all a trap with DiBiase attacking Jake post match. In Kayfabe Ted injured Jake's neck but in reality this was Jakes exit off TV because of legal issues he was having at the time. All throughout the Summer DiBiase would taunt the snake by saying how he ended his career but that in the end was far from the truth.Jake would return that Fall hell bent on getting revenge for the attack. Cant go wrong with Jake cutting a promo thats for sure.... The feud would heat up at SSeries as Jake was apart of the Hulkamaniacs as they took ok the Million Dollar Team.DiBiase though would have the advantage on this night as he eliminated Jake. The bad blood between these two would boil into the new decade as that January on Superstars Jake would get his revenge when he would steal the Million Dollar belt This would infuriate the money man who attempted to get the services of the Big Boss Man to retrieve from em.This didnt work out in the end... DiBiase would eventually get his belt back but the big showdown between these two was set in stone for WM VI in Skydome.Gotta mention Jakes promo before the match here. My personal fav of his The match itself I thought was very good.Very old school type feel to it. This would end the feud as during this event DiBiase would enter his feud with the Boss Man. Overall...Excellent feud here between two guys whos history dates back to the Mid South days.Having it go a year is another plus. You really wanted to see Jake come back and get his revenge. He didnt win the belt in the end but man great story told here. Thumbs up.

I loved this whole run, I was a massive Jake fan as a kid. My favorite run of his in the WWE was against Rick Martel, I could not have been any more invested in that storyline.
