Okay think I can clear some of this up. Bret kept getting attire in WCW stolen, so there was two versions of the same attire. The trunks part were original, then the longer parts of tights had to be replaced (hence why in later in 1999 it didnt pattern up). They were also different materials and shades, the original was a set with knee pads, hence again why WCW 99 did not match up to WCW 98. Interestingly, Bret gave up ring attire for jorts in 2000, partly because he was annoyed by this. REPLACEMENT ORIGNAL |

That WCW shirt just sucks. What a bummer! What were they thinking?
I never got an elite Goldberg so I am happy to finally get this one. I also really like that Bret scan and the belt! I imagine this thing will be on sale in no time, on Ringside or Amazon. I can wait.

However, imo they should of went with a lighter pink altogether. I personally prefer the WCW Halloween Havoc version. It would of actually been a safer bet to use the same pink as the Ulitmate Edition or DM. |

I think the skull in his logo was different on new gear he had in WCW. Other than that it was only some minor differences. He wore some of his WWF attires in WCW too Thanks! So all the clamoring and hissy fits for a wcw bret is because of the teeny tiny skull logo? Sounds about right... He also wore black wrist tape in WCW instead of the pink that he wore in the WWF. |

Looking at the figure in the photos in the first post the shade is almost the same as the red in the WCW T-shirt

It's wild how you have to put it against a white background *and* use camera flash to get the tights to almost appear pink in a picture. |

Of course they are a different color pink than the boots. His boots were always a pale pink where his tights/tops were always a brighter/richer shade of pink. I donβt ever recall the pink of his boots matching his outfits.

Why didn't Mattel simply give us Bret in street gear he wore in the promo? They already have jorts mold and they could've added a Bret Hart shirt.

Because they couldnβt give us the Hitman hockey sweater because of copyright issues and nobody wanted another jorts Hitman. A WCW ring attires version of Bret has been requested for ever now. |

Tbf the pink on the boots is a lot lighter than the shades on his various tights. Google Bret Hart boots an the pink on the boots is always much lighter |
