I seriously don't think it looks bad at all in person. Il Got mine today, and I was thinking the same thing. Some of the initial pics did put me off a bit. But in-hand it looks pretty good. |

I seriously don't think it looks bad at all in person. Il Me either, it's a nice overall set. Let's break it down... 1. You get you're first wcw Bret hart figure which everybody was wanting (even in wrestling gear, not jorts) 2. You get a perfect representation of a wcw goldberg figure 3. You get the newly released wcw US title (high on my list of belt wants) 4. You get a new accessory (chest plate) 5. And you get a wcw shirt (something you may not see many of since mattel focuses mainly on wwe/wwf stuff) 6. You get a new Bret look with the round black glasses instead of the pink ones. 7. Not to mention of you are MOC collector the box looks awesome. A lot more positives than negatives with this set. I got it and I love it. By the way, it only looks salmon colored if you put it next to other Bret hart figures, but by itself it looks fine. |

I personally am not bothered by a lot of the decisions in this set, but being that this is and mostly like will be the only WCW Bret, it sucks that it’s not the correct attire color. I could get past a lot of things. Goldberg imo could use a younger scan, open elbow pads and kneepads and the US title could be scaled smaller. However, all of the things I’ve noted are things that aren’t as big as an issue than the Bret because they can be easily fixed. If anything, Mattel should of just used the pink from the Ultimate Edition. It would of been the better option. |

What I think is very telling is the people with it in ha d are happy with it - maybe not perfect, but much happier than those who have just saw images
Maybe the feedback for Mattel on this one is the promo pics need to be better

Just opened mine
I love this goldberg..I didn’t buy any Goldberg’s yet and I’m glad I waited.
The Bret head I like and the glasses. I think I might swap with my wm30 elite and put on the open hands too.
The wcw shirt and steel plate accessories are cool but the us title is a little too big unfortunately

Maybe looks better in hand but all pics I’ve seen looks too bad to display 2. I’ve already headswapped the E74 head onto the EG body 3. Only reason to buy it 4. Since you’re getting wrestling attire instead of street clothes the plate can’t be accurately displayed on him. 5. No one ever wore a Nitro shirt. Who are you realistically gonna put it on? 6. Good the glasses are accurate but not really a selling point for me 7. Do not collect MOC |

it finally hit me as to why the color of bret's tights doesn't bother me. it looks like a pretty similar shade to the bca bret's. those were definitely a little darker than they should've been.
i have no real interest in the pack, so i'm pretty indifferent to how accurate the color is. i personally think its fine, but i see why people don't like it.

I hated this set when I first saw it but it has really grown on me. I just ordered it. I really wanted the screaming Goldberg to replace my Entrance Greats figure. The Bret isn’t great but the accessories make it worthwhile to me. The steel plate being included with a ring gear Bret is a bit odd but it can useful if you plan to make a custom of Bret from that night.
