AFA has revealed that DDP's headset does indeed come off. Not sure how I feel about having a huge hole on the side of the head lol

Damn... they could of done like twenty different things to get the headset on. It kind of ruins the illusion for me. The figure itself looks fantastic minus the weird crotch.

I hope Mattel doesn’t plan on doing this with other figures because that looks weird without the headset

Need to see it in hand before I decide how I feel. I really wish we were getting a DDP in jeans. Would make a sick ultimate! Interchangeable hands/head, vest, rib tap Us title and cloth shirt.

I needed a DDP for my collection but after seeing this I went ahead and just bought an old elite on ebay for 30 bucks. Thanks for posting this!

Good god what a terrible decision. I don't think anyone cares about the dumb headset anyways, melt the damn thing down and use the remnants to plug that stupid hole in his head.

Come on -- that hole is SO small. Really not a huge deal, at least to me...

Of all the the things to complain about, a tinyass hole begind the ear that you probably won’t even be able to see when he’s standing on your shelf.

Looks fine to me. Wrestlers don’t have little gaps between their upper and lower arms and legs and we forgive them.

Mattel should have just included 2 heads, one with the molded headset and one without.

Of all the things to complain about, y’all really complain bout not having another Hogan, Warrior, or Savage in a line up and instead Cena being in the Legends line... You realize that having a huge ass hole (especially since it’s based off on real life people) on a figure is a big no no right? Doesn’t matter if it’s behind the ear or not unless that specific character actually does have a hole(s) on them (SpongeBob for example). For those that poses their figures around and does figure photography, it is a huge distraction to the eye. I get it though, most of the collectors in here (I mean... this the wrestling figure forum after all lol) really only collect wrestling figs anyways so I can see why it doesn’t bother most of y’all.

There’s a difference between having gaps in between upper/lower arms and legs because of articulation and body part executions on a figure vs a hole on a figure that doesn’t have holes. That’s a pretty bad take on Mattel’s part. Best they could’ve done was add an extra head. Figure still looks great though.

One is hugely noticeable even when displayed, one you could easily miss. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just don’t think this is an issue personally.

People don’t have holes on the bottom of their feet either but no one complains about that. (Relax it’s a joke)
To me this goes on the list of things that are taken way too seriously for a toy. It would be a non-issue for me.
