People don’t have holes on the bottom of their feet either but no one complains about that. (Relax it’s a joke) To me this goes on the list of things that are taken way too seriously for a toy. It would be a non-issue for me. I always take things seriously. I don’t joke... ever. I don’t laugh, I don’t smile, I’m always a serious person. The holes on the bottom of the feet serve a purpose by putting a figure stand on it. That’s pretty normal on figures of all brands (Mezco, SH Figuarts, etc.), not just Mattel’s WWE line. You could argue that the hole does serve a purpose for the headset, but when you take the headset off, then what? Like I said in one of my comments above, there’s a lot of collectors in here that really only collects wrasslin figs so I can understand that y’all don’t find an issue with it, but from non wrestling collector stand point (not me, just speaking in general), this is a huge no no. Also, I’d like to add that as a designer myself, the attention to detail is a huge thing that we focus on. So, from a designer stand point, this is a pretty bad execution when there are plenty of different alternative routes that could’ve been executed. |

It is an odd design choice but it really isn’t a big deal. The stranger choice to me is that they even made this figure. They picked the one version of DDP that I wouldn’t buy. I’d rather try to forget this era of his career ever happened.

Wished they would’ve included a leather jacket, black gloves, and a balaclava as an added accessory. |

First it's convincing us that holes in heads is completely normal. The earpiece hole can be easily filled & painted. The bigger issue is the crappy Nakamura pants being used for this DDP.
Not so much the legs (unless they make him too short) but I don’t remember 2002 DDP wearing a belt. The Nakamura waist piece also has awful range of movement.

Doesn’t bother me, but I wasn’t planning on getting him. Just Brutus and Vader for me. But if I were to get him it wouldn’t matter because he’s a back shelf figure at best for my display so it wouldn’t be seen.

Guys like Macho, Hogan, Billy Gunn, etc all had noticeable holes in their heads when removing the accessories. This isn’t anything new.

The Legends line is my main collecting line and I’m a DDP Mark so I’ll still get two of these. I’m not crazy about the choice but it’s not a deal breaker for me either.

Mattel seems to be listening to us more since Steve joined but stuff like this still baffles me. No one seemed to be asking for self help guru DDP but somehow we get him even tho many other better options still need to be made including the one a vast majority of us actually want. |

For the life of me I don't remember him ever wearing a headset, so I don't know if it was worth having a hole in the head....I don't think anyone would have complained "why doesn't he come with a headset!"....it is what it is, I guess.
