Adam Cole was signed with AEW and his elite 92 figure came out much later, Flair got booted from a few things after the darkside of the ring episode, but his superstars and elite figure came out, Wyatt Released in the Summer his elite 92 Burnt Fiend figure came out 6-8months later, Jeff Hardy got released went to AEW his Ultimate Edition came out months after he signed. Jake the Snake and Billy Gunn have been on-air talents for AEW and they still get Mattel figures. To sum it all up it's a 50/50 chance we get Jarrett's ultimate because he obviously signed a legends/merch contract (if its multiple years we have a chance for a few), it may be the only Mattel Jarrett we get, and when other questions have been asked about those guys Flair, Wyatt, Cole, they were never answered. Steve could you please finally confirm or deny whether or not the Jarrett figure(s) are still happening? We still get Jake Roberts figs, so I just wanna make sure. This one won’t be possible at this time. If the situation ever changes (as they tend to do), I’ll do all I can to get this one back in the pipeline for release.

I'm disappointed but not dejected since there are so many more options than there have ever been. I crossed my fingers the entire time because if there's one constant about Jeff Jarrett, it's that he's a mercenary forever running away from the fact that he is and has always been a Memphis act, which, incidentally, is the only time he was ever over. He is and always will be Double J. Had he bothered to stay in 1995, rather than letting his ego rooted in vanity be manipulated by his dad or Vince Russo, he would have been making a high six figures for a number of years. Fans and promoters alike don't like investing in mercenaries. People understood that about Jarrett on a psychic level by the late 90s. So he goes again right when the company re-invests in him the third time around. The first time I got news that he was back, I was thinking "I wonder how long he'll stay this time 🙄." He's a good mind, a good performer, and had a good body, but none of those qualities could have been great without a slick marketing campaign from WWF to promote him as such. Whatever

If there’s gonna be a replacement it’s something they can throw in there quickly. So either someone gets moved up or they re-release someone like Series 3 HHH or Series 1 Warrior

Feels like we're just not destined to ever get another WWE Jeff Jarrett figure. I would have loved one in the Classic line, but he was with TNA at the time so no way that was happening. This one felt really close, gutted it's been cancelled for all the guys wanting it.

I kinda wish he was never announced rather than have a glimmer of hope to be dashed away.
I would've been happy with an Elite all told, but this one stings. Can't think of anyone else in the pipeline worthy of taking his spot

Whatever Thank you for posting this, I could not agree more. I'm already wondering about AEW: "How long will this last?" What's the over/under? I give it 6 months TOPS, and I doubt he'll be there that long.

Disappointed regarding the news but excited to see what Jazwares can produce with his rights. His classic TNA look, Don't p#$$ me off look, and even anything from his debut onwards. I wonder if Jazwares can actually make the Ultimate look that Mattel was about to do? Hmmm

I wonder if Jazwares can actually make the Ultimate look that Mattel was about to do? Hmmm WWE and WCW looks are off the table unless he wore them in a promotion WWE doesn’t have the rights to. TNA is probably off the table too. Plus Jazwares doesn’t do a lot of throwback looks even tho they have a huge roster of legendary talent. I wouldn’t expect much from them with Jarrett outside his current look. Maybe Flair’s last match attire. Possibly USWA/CWA.

Disappointing news. Feel bad for Steve and the guys who really seem like they're trying to get figures out faster and they still get cancelled.

Wrestlemania 38 Edge feels like a fairly simple repaint option. Especially since we are getting the AJ.

Really disappointing. I was really looking forward to this one.
Sorry if I'm being a bit dim here, but does this cancellation pretty much confirm that JJ hasn't signed a WWE Legends deal?

Hell yeah, that last pic of Jarrett would be a good choice as an alternative to an ultimate we won't get!
