I think a Dennis Rodman figure wouldβve been cool in this set Cool? Absolutely. But if you think the forum is a little feisty right now imagine if they locked a FTITL figure behind a $400 paywall. Don't care if it was Dennis Rodman or El Dandy, people would be furious and I understand why Mattel would be hesitant to do that as the backlash would be thunderous. |

And don't kid ourselves, 2 or 3 of the 5 would've probably gone that way. The thing to me is that there are some good attire choices for all of those that would be great UEs. We could've gotten either HBK/Triple H or Chyna/Triple H in late 1997-early 1998 gear. Undertaker in Ministry gear. Nation of Domination Rocky Maivia or Invasion era Rock with black pants and white shirt. Maybe Stone Cold in jean shorts or just another shot at ring gear Stone Cold with different heads and accessories. And who knows what else we could've gotten? Shamrock, Dude Love, Cactus Jack, Vince, Shane, Rikishi, Paul Bearer, Trish, Lita, Godfather, Big Bossman, Kurt Angle, 2-in-1 Jerry Lawler, X-Pac, Edge, etc. |

What a ripoff.β One that note, why have we only got only one Austin Ultimate? The second biggest name of all time. Man different shirts, vests, and knee braces. Plenty of accessories that can be used. Hell, as mentioned, put him in jorts. Dammit, I want more Austin. IIRC we haven't gotten red knee braces even in Elite form. That would have been neat to see. |

The stage is must get imo. The figure choices aren't great outside of Steiner and Warrior for me. That Warrior in particular is a really big want. 00/01 chainmail Steiner doesn't make sense here, same for Champ Booker, because the stage was different by then. So hopefully both are mass release Ultimates. Not sure I understand DDP not being in his 98 gear. That's kind of a big swing and miss, but another one I'd rather have as a mass release because I'd likely pickup doubles.
After hearing the Bischoff suggestions, seems like a missed opportunity. NWO look with a motorcycle or even the commentary booth as a tier unlock. I could have easily seen Canadian tuxedo Scott Hall in this set, too. I get that Rey and Hogan are huge stars with mass appeal but I have to believe this is largely a collector driven piece and we have so many of both guys already.
I'll be backing one and hoping for the best. Again, the stage is really something special imo. I do think the price point is too high if we don't get to the 9 and 11k tiers. That would be a heartbreaker but probably not all that unrealistic to expect.
As an aside, and I didn't look super closely but, I would think that Warrior jeans mold can now be used for SummerSlam 02 HBK, which is really exciting and hopefully happens.

Well, first off, they shouldnβt charge you right away if this is a year away. Secondly if this reaches around 5k backers, we should still get Hogan, Mysterio and entrance, but not for $400. I really want the entrance, but I donβt see this reaching 11k backers. People who are always on here crying and complaining are the same ppl who over think things like getting figures knowing will never happen. So when stuff is revealed theyβre just more let down because they thought we would get Raw and Nitro stage with King Kong Bundy, LOD, Demolition, Herc and OMG. So when reality hits they get mad. This is why you donβt get on here and read into rumors and such. That is quite literally the point of a crowd-funded project. Collect the funds needed to create a special/unique product that is not suitable for mass retail. |

I'm sorry but this is dog water. - The early bird bonus only happens IF it gets 5k backers in a week and is a basically a re-release with new accessories - No one was asking for the Rey and why he would be the auto include and not a FTITL Steiner is mind boggling. - We've already gotten elites of that DDP look. - Steiner is a great pick but will he shocked if it gets made if this gets funded at all. - Street gear Warrior as the final goal is legit a joke. No one asked for this and out of all the people they have under contract related to WCW THIS is who the include. - Nearly 450 dollars after taxes and shipping in a economy on the brink of a recession and none of the above are actually garuntees except for Rey. The stage looks wonderful, but the price point is atrocious and the figure choices are the worst imaginable. I've seen a lot of copium in here about Hogan and Warrior are gonna be enough to sell this and get to the final goal but I really don't see that happening over a re-release and street gear. Careful, if Cardona happens to read any of that he's gonna have an aneurysm. All that Orlando heat has melted his brain. |

I can't believe y'all are hating on this. Blows my mind. Premium sets like this are all I could ever want as an adult wrestling figure collector. Like, dream stuff. Insane to me that anyone could see this and crap on it. Only ppl hating on it are the ones who canβt afford it. Well that's just not true at all. |

The stage looks amazing but as far as the figures go they are uninspiring and lazy. Hogan, Warrior and with Rey coming out they are easy paint swaps and I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the bare bones Kane. DDP in this look again is a joke when he's coming out again in the greatest hits. As for Warrior this look is terrible and I don't think anyone wanted it compared to a Booker, jeans DDP or even Hall and Nash. There is also the danger of backing this and only getting the stage and Rey Mysterio.
