I want that stage so bad, but I can’t afford it right now. And doing any split payment options isn’t feasible for me at the moment.

Nah, not spending £500 - and definitely not spending £500 on anything WCW related... rather hoping most of it fails, tbh. Jeez....it's one thing to not find it worth the money, but to actively hope it fails? That's a garbage take. All failing does is hurt future campaigns... While I dont wish it fails..I dont see it hitting the 11K. I also dont think this will hurt future campaigns. Just means they missed the mark. if it fails.. it might be because of either price being high, and or the lack of quality figures in the package to push sales. They can take that and work that into next years idea, thought process. |

I hope it fails. Because its wcw. The company was ahead for a couple of years with some aged wwf stars at the helm. Yes there was the Monday night wars but ultimately (no he just dit'nt) wwe wooped their candy asses for years and years before and after the Monday night wars.
Why make something this large and colossal when their isn't even a raw stage yet?
It's like making a motu origins Sun man castle but not making castle grayskull. If I had the raw stage this might be tempting, but I don't. And I have the raw ring.
And none of the tiers were wcw ring skirts and matt/buckles/ropes so now the raw ring sits incomplete with no attitude stage and the wcw stage sits incomplete with no wcw ring.
It's.......just........stupid.

It took 7-8 years for the Legends line to come back after it failed at retail. If this project bombs, they're not touching anything similar any time soon. |

Yeah,I would never want it to fail. What does that help? I'm not interested but I hope for everyone else's sake that is,it hits the 11k and everything gets unlocked. Takes a pretty miserable person to want something to fail just because they don't want it and for everyone else to suffer because of it.

I wonder if the reason they chose Nitro instead of Raw is because 1) they just released the R-A-W letters and were worried it would eat into any potential backers for a Raw TitanTron stage, and 2) they haven’t figured out how to handle the TitanTron question. Putting an LED screen in it would probably make it much more expensive, but just having a big black void or a giant WWE logo instead of an LED screen would annoy people. The Nitro stage doesn’t have that issue, even though it’s a much more complex stage design.
Because it is weird to give us a Raw ring and not a Raw stage, and a WCW stage, but no WCW ring. But then again, Mattel did make us the RAW letters to go with the Raw ring. So maybe the plan is to drop a WCW ring next year.

If this product fails then hopefully mattel will learn a valuable lesson - WWE IS THEIR MAIN LINE. Let's count how many ultimate edition WWE figures there are on the market today.... Now let's count how many WCW ultimate edition are on the market today.... Oooh. There seems to be 10 times the amount of wwe figures. Why is that you ask? Oh.. maybe because wwe sells way better? It's a stupid time to do this set, the figures all suck, and it's a lazy effort. You don't build Sun man mountain before you make castle grayskull. It's.......just........stupid. You'll probably find the WCW Nitro arena is much more cheaper to make compared to the Raw Is War stage due to its size. The titantron was huge and in scale would be big and would cost alot more than $400 that the Nitro stage is worth. |
