It was too expensive. I dont need a real scale entrance with all the lights. Make something smaller, and with one obscure and one main eventer for 300$. Ok, why not back it for the people who wanted it? Then just resell it Why should I (or anyone) feel obligated to front $400 and engage in the legwork to flip something I don't want just to satisfy someone else's needs? |

Personally, the only crowdfunding thing I'd be interested in are exclusive figures/figure sets.

If there’s going to be another crowdfunding project, realistically, they’re going to have to scale it way back. Hit a price point closer to the $250 of the New Gen arena. Aside from certain promo segments like the Barber Shop or Piper’s Pit, I can’t think of what they could do that isn’t already accomplished by the Wreckin vehicles. A ECW stage would be perfect for that price point. Could even follow the New Gen model and have it come with the stage, ring, UE Funk and Cactus Jack with a Paul Heyman early bird. I don’t think that would have a hard time getting funded. |

I have an idea.
Why doesn't Mattel get a handle on their normal product distribution and availability before they start tackling big expensive projects that may or may not get made.

What I hypothesized was true. Not enough people care about WCW, and especially at that price point.
Was it a good value? Probably so, the most accurate and life-like entrance stage ever released it looked like. But an entrance stage of a defunct wrestling company from 22 years ago. Much better off trying the Raw is war or Smackdown fist stage. I’m sorry for those who really wanted it, but are you really surprised?

Whatever it is, Mattel needs to bring the heat.
Oh, and Rey doesn't move merch brother.

Honestly, if I’m Mattel I take one look at the Official Thread and say “  it, we are done.” It’s just going to be the same story. If they do the RAW stage it’ll cost more so we will get cost complaints. If it includes Foley, Triple H, Rock, Austin and Undertaker, then people will post stupid sh** like “They should have included a first time in the line Val Venis or Owen Hart!!!!” despite knowing that’s not how it works. If it’s the Smackdown fist it might be cheaper but when Rey is rightfully part of it again the same dopes will be like “Rey doesn’t sell!!!” It’s just going to go in a circle. The New Gen worked at that price point because it was something new that opened the idea of crowdfunds and the Doink was niche and Macho was an added bonus. Remember, people threw a fit about the Diesel. “It should have been Bret or Razor or Shawn!!!!!” I just don’t see the juice being worth the squeeze. |

New tooling was factored into these figures as well gotta wonder if that will play a part in ultimates looking like how Eddie Guerrero looks or rey's torso as well.
