Hasbro pretty much owns everything they put out I believe. Mattel has to abide by a license when it comes to wwe. Hasbro has done crowdfund projects with Star Wars and Marvel. Ahh I only collect MMPR from them I completely forgot about those đ

I hope they do smaller, less expensive sets. At the end of the day, the Nitro stage wasnât funded because the price point was too high for many people. Doing interview sets with 1 or 2 Ultimates for under $200 would be ideal.

I'd be all for this. I like the addition of Papa Shango, though I don't think he ever appeared on the funeral parlor, he seems to fit the theme. Plus, I don't think Papa Shango would get an Ultimate Edition figure otherwise - he'd be like the Doink of the set. I also like the addition of a heel Jake, though, Lucifer was his second python after Earthquake squashed Damien, and I don't remember him carrying a python as a heel (in 1991/92), but an Ultimate Edition cobra would be great - I don't think he ever named his cobra snake. If they don't go with this, I wouldn't mind the funeral parlor set from the segment that Flair and Hogan met for the first time on TV. First tier is the main set and the UE Paul Bearer figure (who probably wouldn't get an UE figure otherwise). Tier 2 could be Hogan and the Hogan casket. Tier three could be Ric Flair and maybe another casket that would fit with the Funeral Parlor stage. Early bird special could be Warrior with a Warrior casket. Whoops - I thought his cobra was called Lucifer.Yeah, no. It was the second python after Damien. I don't remember him ever naming his cobra. But, nevertheless, an Ultimate Edition of heel Jake in the black flame attire (or blue flame attire) with a fully poseable cobra like the Coliseum Collection Damian would be amazing. Here is a match Jake had just before turning heel when he had Lucifer with him.

Why should I (or anyone) feel obligated to front $400 and engage in the legwork to flip something I don't want just to satisfy someone else's needs? Not all about just buying it to please others. Youâre here for a reason right? You collect wwe figures? If anything back the stuff to make it successful so we could get more in the future. All Iâm saying is if you backed it but didnât want it, you could always resell it to get your money back. And if you canât afford it then ok. But most of you rather just get on here and complain about prices and size , yet ask and hope fr stuff that would cost way much more and be just as big if not bigger. None of what you said has described me other than "you collect WWE figures", but if you need someone to lash out at because this didn't make it, I'm here for you.

Just give me playsets or add ons with figs going forward at a lower cost and better attainability. Pipers pit, brother love show, snake pit, barber shop, cages, iconic vehicles etc⊠people will still complain but with a smaller item and target goal it will still be attainable for those who do want it.

I really donât care because whatever it is I wonât back it. I made it known when they showed the New Generation Crowdfunding I said the only stage I would back would be a WCW stage. I did and then I had to wait on the whims of others to decide if I was going to be able to obtain it. So no thanks. I donât want the fate of something I truly want left in the hands of others. So I would rather not be shown something I would want and then hope that others like it enough to back it. I would rather just not see/hope of it. To your point - - - I do feel like I've totally wasted a whole lot of time checking that damn MC site, following the thread, & engaging in arguments on here about the value of this really nice item with people who had no intention of buying it to begin with. This whole project feels like a complete waste of time at this point and no, I don't think I'd want to get involved in any future crowdfunds. The dedicated fans are now left empty-handed and the idiots are sitting there snickering saying "we told you so". It was ridiculous. I donât think Iâve used the mute option on this site in the nearly 20 years Iâve been here until that thread. There were pages where I didnât see any posts because the usual suspects were trolling away.

We arenât gonna get anything remotely close to this ever again. Weâve clamored for something like this every time they show it at a show and we got the opportunity to put our money where our mouth is and we didnât do it. Best we can hope for is something similar in scale and scope to the New Gen arena. On Mattelâs end, wrong figures, poorly advertised until the last minute on WWE TV, and international shipping were a big issue. #Mattel screwed Mattel.

Why such a big company wants us to crowd fund đ . Make stages like jakks did. Aren't there basic figs and ultimate figs. There are two different kind of buyers. Why shove 400 dollar item in someone's throat when he has no space and just want a small entrance stage for nostalgia purpose.

I think the next crowd fund needs to be a little more figure focused, with a very basic (affordable) stage or set.
Pipers pit plus figures Funeral Parlor plus figures (could really go wild with this one - who doesnât want Green Flair with âreal worlds heavyweightâ belt or the Warrior, Piper and Macho with chairs protecting Hogan, and so on) Barber shop plus figures (probably canât get Marty so might be limited)
Something like that or the other option is accessories for figures. Eddie and a low rider, taker with bike or Gold LOD with bikes from SS92 (had to throw it in there). Maybe a 4 pack survivor series with an old school interview stage, could do the Dream Team or Hulkamanics.
Point is, the nitro stage was AMAZING, itâs a real shame we wonât get it, but to double down on another stage isnât a good idea in my view. The cost is to high, and we can all say if it was RAW or Smackdown youâd pay for it blah blah blah, odds are theyâd be more expensive then the Nitro stage, so I canât seem them being backed either. Mattel needs a win on the next crowd fund (if there is one), they have to play it safe in my view.

Wrestling crowdfunds are a hard sell because in reality most people just want rings and figures, it's not like GI Joe or superheroes, where they could do vehicles or giant sized characters, etc.

The big problem here is, Iâd say more people would want the attitude era RAW stage but that would now be so expensive, even that may not get funded.
This nitro stage would have opened up the tooling for RAW, Smackdown etc. gutted it didnât get there.

Donât see why Mattel needs 5k backers to make things. You would think rather itâs 3k or 5k it should still end up the same when it comes to profit. They dangle the carrot over your head with this stuff knowing they could make this and give it to the people who actually backed it, you canât tell me not selling 1k of these is making them lose money. If for whatever reason they think it is, then why not mattel back the final 1k and just sell them on mattel creations? This is why Iâm done backing anything else, they could make this work. Hell, they could keep the figures and Iâd buy the stage alone for $400

I have a hard time believing it would cost over 100k to create this thing along with whatever marketing, advertising, etc it cost them. Maybe the profit wasnât enough or worth it? itâs obviously more complex than the above âŠ. But I canât believe 4k backers doesnât do them well. And like you said above, sell the remaining 1k on the open market after. Absolute ZERO doubt theyâd sell, especially without the 1 year wait time.

it was fun to see all of the crazy people buying 12 of these in the hopes of it being made and calling everyone poor because they aren't also buying 12 to get stuck on ebay for months now we're at the grieving stage and the fun is over was never gonna buy it, not a WCW guy and certainly don't have ÂŁ500 laying around the takes by the looks of it have and will continue to be absolutely insane and unrealistic an important thing to remember is that collectors collect for themselves, not anyone else - nobody should feel personally ashamed because 48 year old tim from arkansaw who watched hulk hogan in 1987 didn't get his toy set although it's fully justified to complain about zack ryder all the time
