I dont think what the cop did was wrong! Kids now-a-days have no respect for anyone, and someone needs to teach them a lesson. If their parents don't who better than a COP! COPS RULE!! SMART ASS KIDS; SUCK!!!! the kid wasnt a smart ass |

wearing a badge does not earn you the pleasure of being called "sir". you can call a cop "dude" all you would like. theres no other way to look at it. the kid didnt do anything wrong. and when a lawsuit goes down, you will see that the law agrees with that. Wow.. maybe my parents just raised me diffrent than everyone else here & I acutally respect other people enough to say Yes sir and no sir. Im not saying the cop didnt get an attitude but the kid did nothing help himself he should have done like his friends & just stood there & didn't talk unless he was spoken to & THEN explain it to him respectfully. Sorry, I think calling adults dude is disrespectful but that was the way I was raised. That's you.. Not everyone thinks the word dude is disrespectful, and just because you do, doesn't mean that's correct. I use sir all the time, It's part of my vocabulary the way dude is to most teens, but I don't think just because the cop was referred to as Dude instead of Sir, he should feel disrespected and flip out. The kid was being a bit of a punk, but the cop went out of line with some of the things he said. I'm not saying he shouldn't have been yelling at him, but saying **** like "i'm not your dad" and "obviously your parents don't put a foot up your behind enough" went too far. And really who needs to verbally berate a 14 year old kid with that kind of anger and tone of voice? That makes me have less respect for him. |

I will usually side with the cops, but the cop went too far. He was just trying to throw his weight around because he has a badge. Granted, the kids were skating in a place where they should not have been, but it doesnt take all of that to get them to leave.

I Would laugh in the dudes face...I Wouldn't care if he went to my home...My parents wouldnt give a **** if i were skateboarding.....The law are too harsh now a days and they think they ing own the country. |

That kid didn't deserve that I've seen worse teenagers than that. I would've taken the department to court and had some fat cash for that. His @** should have gotten fired.
