Anyone who thinks The Rock "betrayed" them is a mouth breathing idiot, plain and simple. Look, I'm sure The Rock still loves wrestling, does that mean he has to come back whenever the WWE wants him to? Michael Jordan probably still loves basketball, but I wouldn't expect to see him suiting up for an NBA team anytime soon. The wrestling business is a machine that chews people up and spits them out when it has no use for them anymore. Ric Flair isn't out there making a fool of himself in the ring at nearly 60 years old because he "loves" the business, it's because he essentially threw all his money down the toilet. Shawn Michaels "loves" the business, but guess what, I don't think The Rock wants to spend the rest of his life in horrible shape with a ed up back and ed up knees like Shawn Michaels is going to. Honestly, I'd be more insulted if The Rock actually DID make random appearances like someone like Mick Foley does. Foley isn't coming back because he loves the business, he's coming back because he loves Vince's paychecks.

I have a feeling that a lot of The Rock's contemporary movie fan base consists of people who grew up with him as WWF wrestling fans in the late 1990s and early 2000s. If he came out and badmouthed wrestling, instead of saying he loves it (which Cena says he should stop doing), perhaps he'd lose a lot of his movie fans.

I have a question.....Here's a way to tell if Dwayne Johnson still has respect for wrestling? Does he still have his Brahma Bull Tattoo on his arm, or did he cover that up with his horrid tribal tattoo? If he did cover the Bull; he has no respect for the business anymore.

Cena didn't say anything wrong. He said if Rock wants to Act and not come back to Wrestling thats fine. He said it pisses him off when R ock says he loves Wrestling and it's in his blood, if so how come he can't stop by after 4 years Live to say a little something to the fans. When was the last time The Rock said that? Families of Wrestling DVD or whatever the hell it is called.

the tribal is on the other arm. Here's some things to consider though. (I totally support what Cena says from what I've read)
I don't think we're asking for the Rock to come back and wrestle on a regular basis but damn......an APPEARANCE from time to time that is actually,...you know, LIVE instead of all this taped stuff that they can use for months from one sitting....that's what I don't like. The guy turned down an appearance at the 15th anniversary show. A show that MADE HIM what he is today. I'm a Rock fan through and through, always have been from the Rocky days but it would be nice to see him give back to the fans that got him where he is today. Second, I think WWE is being very cautious on having him induct his father/grandfather. I gotta think, if it was taking place anywhere other than Florida, Rock would get booed out of the building Don't believe me? Check that promo he cut on Jericho years back after doing movies and being gone for a while. That's what led to his last heel run.

Check that promo he cut on Jericho years back after doing movies and being gone for a while. That's what led to his last heel run. That's not true at all. The Rock would get a gigantic pop no matter where the event is being held. The reason he turned heel back in 2003 was because his character had grown extremely stale after being a babyface since 1999. It's exactly what Cena has been enduring for the past several years. As for why he doesn't come back more often, it's really simple: he wants to go out on top. Do you want him to wear out his welcome the way all of you complain about Foley, Austin, Hogan, etc. whenever they appear on TV? He wants to leave well enough alone and not come back just for the sake of coming back. The Rock will always be known for basically carrying the entire company on his back from 1999 - 2002 and he doesn't want to tarnish his legacy. It's not like The Rock is ashamed of his wrestling past or whatever, he just wants to move on with his next career choice.

Actually you're wrong. The Rock WAS booed. I don't remember the exact segment but I know it had something to do with him attempting to make fun of Y2J and it was a taped segment. May have been the 10th anniversary show, I'm not for certain. Rock was booed every time he finished a sentence. A few months later (in '03) he shows back up, and even mentions getting booed, thus setting up his heel turn.

Rock doesn't owe us anything, he did all that he has to do and there's nothing left. He isn't Flair, Austin, Foley and all these guys who can't do anything other than wrestle. I'm glad he has success and I'm happy for him.
Cena wishes he could hold the crowd in the palm of his hand like The Rock.

John Cena needs to know his role.... and shut..
ehhh..
Honestly, the Rock has done all he can do in wrestling. If he came back, hed be just like Jericho, and die out within a month. People get tired of the same old stuff, but when its gone, they miss it. Theres no pleasing the wrestling fans, either way, so hes better off with the movies.

I was never a fan of "Great One" and his movies, I do agree with John Cena, The Rock should give us one more match and then retire for good and make crappy movies

I am pretty sure the studio that was shelling out millions and millions of dollars for him to act wouldn't appreciate him stopping production for a day so he can please a bunch of people on the internet. A day may not seem like much but time is money. I was never a fan of "Great One" and his movies, I do agree with John Cena, The Rock should give us one more match and then retire for good and make crappy movies If you were never a fan of The Rock then why do you want him to wrestle one more match

Thats one stupid statement. He hasent coverd his bull tattoo and even if he did, explain to me how that means he has no repect for the business? Cena is pi$$ed at The Rock because he wants the success The Rock had. Cena goes out and gets boo'ed every week when he is a babyface... correct me if i'm wrong but thats not the reaction your ment to be getting. You aint doing your job right if you are getting boo'ed.
