I have a question.....Here's a way to tell if Dwayne Johnson still has respect for wrestling? Does he still have his Brahma Bull Tattoo on his arm, or did he cover that up with his horrid tribal tattoo? If he did cover the Bull; he has no respect for the business anymore. As far as I know, he more or less got the bull tattoo due to the fact that he's a Taurus. Something along those lines anyway. He does still have it, but even if he did cover it up, how would that be disrespectful to the wrestling business? It's his body, and he got the damn tattoo in the first place. It's not like him getting a tattoo saying "I <3 WWE 4ever" and having it tattooed over.

Now Cena is going to be even more hated by the net fans, now that he seems jealous of The Rock.

In the movie Southland Tales his character has tribal tattoos around the bull but they weren't real. The bull is definatly still there.

In a way I do kind of wonder one of two things. Cena made these comments over a month ago and we're just hearing of it now. Rock was just announced to be @ Mania Monday, we hear this Tuesday. So....either they are planting seeds or this is just coincidence. On the other hand, if this is not a work....what are the odds Rock just says "Screw you guys" and bails on the HOF induction?

that'd be sick if this was kayfabe and it turned into an awesome storyline where Cena turns heel and the Rock returns and they have a match...
i know i'm dreaming..but it would still be badass

Cena's gaining alot of respect from me. I agree with him, it's like living at your mum's house. You live there but then you get older and move out but you don't stop talking to her. It's sort of the same.

I agree with Cena, Mostly because when stone cold left the wwe the rock made that speach about how wwe "Is home" yet now he seems to have turned his back on it.

the tribal is on the other arm. Here's some things to consider though. (I totally support what Cena says from what I've read) I don't think we're asking for the Rock to come back and wrestle on a regular basis but damn......an APPEARANCE from time to time that is actually,...you know, LIVE instead of all this taped stuff that they can use for months from one sitting....that's what I don't like. The guy turned down an appearance at the 15th anniversary show. A show that MADE HIM what he is today. I'm a Rock fan through and through, always have been from the Rocky days but it would be nice to see him give back to the fans that got him where he is today. Second, I think WWE is being very cautious on having him induct his father/grandfather. I gotta think, if it was taking place anywhere other than Florida, Rock would get booed out of the building Don't believe me? Check that promo he cut on Jericho years back after doing movies and being gone for a while. That's what led to his last heel run. How do you know The Rock didn't want to be at the Raw 15th show? I am pretty sure the studio that was shelling out millions and millions of dollars for him to act wouldn't appreciate him stopping production for a day so he can please a bunch of people on the internet. A day may not seem like much but time is money. Missing one day of production is not the end of the world. He could have taken leave for other commitments.

Uhh..no they're not in the same boat. Cena is a full time wrestler( why else would people constantly complain about him?). The Rock hasn't stepped foot in a wrestling ring in almost 4 years. Big difference. Obviously you do not read very well and comprehend. I said nothing about wrestling with the "boat" comment. It was about movies my friend try again.... Well this isn't about movies solely, dick. It's about how Rock refuses to do any wrestling events because he's a bonified " movie star."

There's going to be the Cena fans who argue his point or continue criticizing him but as a major Rock fan, I agree with every word Cena said. As one of his many fans, I feel as though I am a small part of the reason he's in the position that he is today. He wouldn't afford a multi-million dollar house, make millions per film, or have the star persona he has today without the wrestling fans catipulting him to the top of the industry, thus making him a cross-over star. When I read him say in interviews that he's not coming back or he has no want to come back, I feel like he has turned on the people that made him what he is. Cena's right and no matter how many people will oppose his comments, deep down inside I think most agree. If this was Triple H saying it, we'd applaud him. If it were Michaels, he'd be celebrated. If Ric Flair had said this, it'd be written down and recited as scripture. Cena said it so it'll draw criticism. exactly. theres no way. NO WAY, Dwayne (i call him that, because thats what he wants to be called. The Rock will be the guy at the HOF.. maybe) can sit there and say he loves WWE, he misses WWE without wanting to come back. When somebody becomes that succesful, and this goes for anyone, they always go back to their roots once and a while. For Dwayne, he used WWE as a stepping stone. Its not like his body cant handle wrestling, unlike stone cold. Hell at least Stone Cold can appear and participate like 3 or 4 times a year. If i remember right, it was the Fans that made him who he is anyway. They boo'd his Debut gimmick, and they ran with it and turned him heel. Then theres always the one video that just goes to show The Rock has no problem lying, just to take the spotlight from stone cold, and make himself look bigger: www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/The%2BRock%2Breturns/video/x1q2b8_the-rocks-return-in-2002_shortfilms

It's true, if he didn't have a wrestling career he wouldn't be doing all these movies. He should respect where he came from more. exactly

I partly disagree, because the Rock still loves wrestling.
Yet, I partly agree because the Rock has said NOTHING about wrestling over the past few years. Always on TV, it's "Rock: Movie Star." Never wrestler or even former wrestler. I'm sorry for the fact that the Benoit thing and him being a wrestler might not get him another role on Corey in the House but he was, and still is, one of the greatest wrestlers in our generation. John Cena may not be the right person to speak out on this, but the Rock never even acknowledges it anymore.

Cena is a big name right now and sure he isn't as big of a draw as Rock was but that is because he came when the business was going down.

To those who agree with Cena...think about this... The Rock has been in the WWE since 95. He stopped wrestling in 03. Now think about this...he put his body on the line for 8 years to entertain us. The dude spent time away from his family for 8 years to do not only what he loved, but to keep you entertained. Rocky will always love wrestling. He was born into it. WWE will always be in his heart, but Rocky is playing the smart card. He's doing acting probably for several reasons: easier schedule, more time with family, benefits his overall health. You guys act as if he parting ways with the 'E is saying " you" to the fans. Well, it's not. Just because he doesn't want to be like Ric Flair, taking back drops for the rest of his life, doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate the fans...it's smart business. If what Cena said was true...he needs to shut the up.

Good on Cena, I think this may be another CNN like biased interview though, Cena making that comment so publicly isn't the smartest thing to say when you're the top dog of a company.

Ok, but get this Cena's been going since 02, that almost SEVEN years already! in a year or two, he'll have surpassed the Rock so Cenas got all the room he needs to talk. and whos gonna shut him up? No joke, Ill put money that Cena would whoop the Rock's ass in a real fight.
