Will this just be WWE legends, or seeing as we had them in the last game, would there be any ECW legends? (i just want to use sabu again)

We're all speculating at this point. Sorry, wasn't suppose to sound like asking, just hoping... Actually, thinking about it, THQ could release a WWE legends game and seperate ECW legends game as the only originals that would be difficult to get in the game would be the Dudley Boys, James Mitchell and Rhino and i think that if done through THQ instead of WWE, they could be achieved

But this has a different release date. With them saying 'We started working on it before 2008 was released.' Makes me think they've maybe 25-50% percent done on this project. Although I'm not gonna complain if it's developed by the DOR team. You're missing the point completely, dude. They'd have to be developing both games at the same time, something that the SVR team is not capable of. And I've never seen anything about LOWM being started before SVR08 was released. That seems like something taken from the interview about SVR09. There's no way the SVR team could make it without epic failing one or both the games they're working on. I'm almost positive that the DOR team is the team working on this. If the DOR team is doing this, this game would be a most buy for me. Also, this game by itself would make me buy a PS3.

Couldn't they do a sort of Jakks thing, like they did with Warrior? Anyway, i'm allowed to hope...

No, they couldn't, because WWE still has final say in the roster anyways. I'm not sure how it works with the CS Line, but I'm pretty positive the WWE has to give the go ahead to contact people to be in the CS Line.

And besides, PS2 sold the most consoles this past holiday season so it won't be dying that soon, at least certainly not in 2008. Where are you getting your numbers from? Because I got mine from the NPD, and for December, November, and October (what most people consider the Holiday Season) the PS2 only sold better than other Sony products. Here are the numbers I found: October- Nintendo Wii: 519K
- Nintendo DS: 458K
- Microsoft Xbox 360: 366K
- Sony PSP: 286K
- Sony PlayStation 2: 184K
- Sony PlayStation 3: 121K
November- DS Lite: 1.53m
- Wii: 981K
- Xbox 360: 770K
- PSP: 567K
- PS2: 496K
- PS3: 466K
December- DS Lite: 2.47m
- Wii: 1.35m
- Xbox 360: 1.26m
- PS2: 1.1m
- PSP: 1.06m
- PS3: 797K
Now, once again, I don't know what your basing what you said off of, but from my numbers, the Xbox 360 and the Wii sold more consoles this Holiday season than the PS2 did. If those are correct, my bad then. I looked it up and apparently it was the #2 console sold this holiday season (forget behind what). Regardless, while the PS2 is dying, it will still be around for a while. Gamecubes & Xboxs were down to $60 and below when they died, and PS2 is still a little more than double that. I won't upgrade to PS3/360 for a while, maybe ever. I think eventually when the PS2 dies, I must just buy one of the new handhelds (like the generation after PSP/DS) or something like that.

Unless things soon change, no. Just PS3 & 360

Kinda obvious in terms of the answer but do you think that arena wise, they will just have every wrestlemania arena?

Ok we'll include Yukes, Jakks, WWE, the wrestlers contacted, etc People not working or associated with the game don't know anything about the features.

This game will prolly be no different then any of the other smackdown games, hell even the roster will prolly be similar to the smackdown games well prolly get every legend that has appeared already in the smackdown series i.e. hogan, andre, piper, rock, stone cold, bret hart, gurerro, LOD, and foley, then well prolly get current guys in older attires i.e. HBK, HHH, Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Hardy Boys, and Edge, then because u know that they have to attract a younger age group to buy the game they will prolly throw in a couple current guys and try to pass them off as "Legends" of wrestlemania like Cena, Mysterio, and Batista so when it comes down to it we will prolly only see 10 - 20 new legends with ric flair being 1 of them even though he appeared as a regular wrestler and not a legend in other game... so the only guys i see really have a realistic chance of being in the game that hasnt appeared before r prolly yokozuna, paul orndorff, bob orton, demolition, razor ramon, IRS, they will prolly throw doink in there (mark my words), Sid and maybe the ultimate warrior and lex luger... We def wont be seeing savage, benoit, and owen and prolly not bossman either
