Well, apparently it still confuses people, because someone a couple of pages back thought this was a new Legends of Wrestling game. If it was going to be the all encompassing Legends game people thing it will be, it'd be called something like 'Legends of Wrestling', 'Legends of the WWE', 'Classic Superstars', or something like that. Do you people HONESTLY expect this game to feature guys/arenas from WCCW, AWA, Jim Crockett Promotions, and the like? I do. I think the WrestleMania name is just a strategy to sell the game. Thank you, that's what I've said multiple times in here... but no one listens... Oh well, now to figure out which system I'll be buying so that I can play this. |

They own so many of the rights to a lot of this stuff I don't see why they wouldn't, but you never know. It would be so sweet to play in the old territories, but this seems like it will just be wrestlemania venues I guess.

People wishing for it to come to PS2 get on my nerves the PS2 is last generation. xbox and PS3 and not next generation any more they are current gen the xbox has been out nearly 3 years so yeah while consoles are expensive 3 years is a hell of a long time to save up. And lets face it you didn't think they would keep making games for the PS2 forever?.
Don't get me wrong I loved my PS2 but fact is its a old machine and for new games its time to move on. PS2 is whats holding back some multi format games these days any way.

Yesterday's release of April sales figures for US retailers contained a contradiction of sorts that raised a number of eyebrows. Despite the massive launch success of Grand Theft Auto IV, the Rockstar game didn't appear to be a "system seller," as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 hardware sales were actually down significantly from the previous month.
In a brief on the NPD figures today, Entertainment Design and Research analyst Jesse Divnich said the results strengthened an assessment he made last month that Sony and Microsoft's latest consoles have saturated the possible market at their current price points. At the time, Divnich pointed to stagnant hardware sales of the two systems despite banner debuts for Army of Two and Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 as evidence that prices would need to come down on the systems.
Divnich pointed out that April was the first time Xbox 360 sales dipped below an average of 50,000 a week since last July, and that dip was followed the very next month by a price cut for the hardware.
"Of course, it might be a little too soon to speculate that we can expect a price drop in the coming weeks or additional hardware SKUs (an Xbox 360 with Blu-Ray capability) in the coming month," Divnich said, "but if May's hardware sales drop below the 50,000 units sold a week threshold, we can definitely expect something in terms of a change in strategy from both Microsoft and Sony."
Get your hopes up if you don't already own a PS3 or 360....and start saving your money. I do not want a wafer thin game because they had to put it on old systems.

People are jumping the gun on this one. We all know it will be half-assed and the roster won't be close to what people had hoped for. I just hope everyone isn't too disappointed when this all happens. And it will feature the horrible SD vs. Raw gameplay anyway.

PS2 is whats holding back some multi format games these days any way. PS2 is last-gen, but I still love it. It sold the most out of any console this past holiday season. In my opinion, it's not worth getting a 360 or PS3 at this point. They are too expensive for what they are. There's nothing that interesting in my opinion. A lot of the games are just sequels to what is already out. I'll just enjoy by PS2 until it is officially dead and then worry about what to do next. |

my dreams have been answered, ive been waiting for just a legend-based game for a while because keeping people like the rock and stone cold use up space for guys like macho man and ultimate warrior. Hope it doesn't bomb and the roster is good. just of the sound of it, ill buy it  |

Anyone who would try to get a Burmese Python over 8 feet to try and bite them, is a complete intellectually- disabled person. I know when the Cobra bit Savage, it wasnt supposed, Jake was just supposed to get close to Savage with it, and it latched on, normally Cobras bite, and let go then bite again until the object that its pissy with moves out of its area, however it didnt let go, Jake once said that Savage was yelling at him to get the damn thing off him and Jake was pulling and it just wasnt comming off. Thank god it was devenomised. I cant wait for this game. I really hope they have alot of old arenas and belts. And in CAW mode pre made tights for those who WWE hasnt signed yet for the game....They better  ing not put Cena in as a "Legend of Wrestle Mania" However Id love to see the Kliq, old Snob Triple H, Razor, Diesel, HBK and Kid. |

Now that I think about it....this can't be made by the SVR team, because there's no way they can juggle two games at once. I think this may be developed by the DOR team, considering Yuke's has never used the same game engine on two different series before.

Biggest system sellers don't mean everything, there were tons of new great franchises. And leaps made on existing franchises were far greater than what is going on now. I won't get into a long debate. I'm just saying that right now I think it's foolish to shell out so much money for a video game system. I easily have the money, but I would rather save it for something more important at this point. And besides, PS2 sold the most consoles this past holiday season so it won't be dying that soon, at least certainly not in 2008. |

And besides, PS2 sold the most consoles this past holiday season so it won't be dying that soon, at least certainly not in 2008. Where are you getting your numbers from? Because I got mine from the NPD, and for December, November, and October (what most people consider the Holiday Season) the PS2 only sold better than other Sony products. Here are the numbers I found: October- Nintendo Wii: 519K

- Sony PSP: 286K

Now, once again, I don't know what your basing what you said off of, but from my numbers, the Xbox 360 and the Wii sold more consoles this Holiday season than the PS2 did. |

They'd have to be developing both games at the same time, something that the SVR team is not capable of. And I've never seen anything about LOWM being started before SVR08 was released. That seems like something taken from the interview about SVR09. There's no way the SVR team could make it without epic failing one or both the games they're working on. I'm almost positive that the DOR team is the team working on this. |
