If you care about having the newest version of the software as soon as you get it, you'll want the Nexus S (unless they put the Galaxy Nexus on Sprint soon). Otherwise, depending on your needs, the Samsung Galaxy S™ ll, Epic™ 4G Touch may be your best bet, although it does win the contest for worst name.
Also, since you said "anything but iPhone" you may want to give the Arrive a look. It's Windows Phone, which if you have Xbox Live may be something of interest to you as some of the games will get you achievements, and they have a whole Xbox Live section.

The presumption (however misguided) is that even if that one CD crosses the hands of a million people, only person owns it at a time. 1 sale, 1 owner. If you rip a CD and put those files online, the nature of digital media means that if a million people download your files, a million people "own" that media simultaneously. 1 sale, 1 million owners. Like I said, it's an imperfect way of looking at ownership and piracy, especially in a world where even physical media is digital, but that's also why most physical media is riddled with copy protection. Each user could legally rip the songs off said CD for there own personal "backup" and then resell the cd and so on. Also it is actually illegal for anyone to view a DVD without purchasing it, to a certain degree. Like I said, it's a flawed reasoning, but that's the only reasoning that justifies the disparity between legal action against people who share physical media and people who share digital media.

I can buy a CD from a store. I can then take that CD and sell it to someone else and then they can sell it to someone else and so on. The RIAA gets no money from me or anyone else selling that CD to someone else. That is legal. I can take the CD and rip the songs to my computer and give them out for free. That is illegal. So it's fine and dandy for me to make some money on the CD but illegal for me to give it away for free. My NAT type is open and I've checked my internet at that time and its usually the same 35 down 5-6 up I usually have. My friends have 9 down 1 up and a 15 down 3 up. It's the fact that I don't even have to be host for them to 2 bar. All we have to do is play together on a mutual host and they 2 bar. I would see what their NATs are.

1) Are your speeds still 35 down and 6 up after 9 PM? Internet speeds, especially if your internet is through Cable (vs. DSL or Fiber), can fluctuate.
2) What are your friends' speeds around the time you have problems?
3) You and your friends should all do the network connection test. If it gives you no notifications, then your NAT is open, otherwise it should mention there's a potential issue and/or should tell you your NAT is moderate/close.
Get back to me with the information and maybe we can figure out something.

Karma is like Fight Club....You dont talk about it. That is the first two rules of Karma. The third rule of Karma is that if you bring it up, your Karma ends up being much lower after 24 hours or so.

It didn't slide back in your case. And to answer the OP's question, no. The DVD drive is enclosed. Well then I guess I'm out $40, right? lol warranty means nothing when you lose it. I think my baby sister took it out then. Thanks for the help. If the disc is gone, the disc is gone. The warranty does not cover disappearing acts. ![:(](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/sad.gif)

Prettttttttttttttty sure that's not true. " One of the PlayStation Vita's most promising features is the ability to buy games on the go, but new reports indicate that game downloads may actually be limited.
According to ASCII (via Andriasang), a representative from Sony Japan has confirmed that the Vita will initially be limited to 20MB for 3G downloads. " -IGN.com Fair enough. Your phrasing made it seem like it was a limitation of 3G in general vs. a limitation that is being arbitrarily placed on the 3G Vita.

does this come with every thing from the hardened edition www.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/itm/Call-Duty-Modern-Warfare-3-Hardened-Edition-Xbox-360-2011-/260920042418?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc00be3b2#ht_500wt_1202 Well, the sale ended, but that's a better question for the seller. That picture is not a photo of the real product, and he didn't list what the contents of the package were. There's no way for anyone to know what you were getting but the seller.

There is a 20MB download lit for 3G, so it's not like you could download Uncharted on the go, anyway. Prettttttttttttttty sure that's not true. I know my phone can download podcasts over 3G that are over 100 MB, but I have to specifically flip a setting in the OS telling it I'm OK with that. I think OS manufacturers put that 20MB limit in there because it makes the carrier's happy that we're not trying to download huge files and because 3G isn't very fast, so anything much larger than 20 MB is not a fast download. As far as I know, no one has announced the 3G carrier deal for Australia. However, the Amazon notes for the Vita make it seem that the purchase of a data plan *will* be required, though I was under the impression the AT&T deal in the US at least made it work like the Amazon Kindle where it was free. In any event, I agree with Valo's comment that if you have a smartphone, the 3G functionality doesn't have much value. This is doubly true if you have an Android phone or have an iPhone with a carrier plan that would allow tethering/wireless hotspot. Even if you're technically able to download Uncharted on the go, it will be a pretty awful experience and will be an even larger battery drain.

Want Paul to win, but will end up voting for Obama if and when Paul does not get the Republican nomination. I just wonder how you can support Paul but then vote for the complete opposite in Obama. Presumably because whomever is picked for the republican nomination in Paul's stead (which is the condition under which he said would vote for Obama) would also be the complete opposite of Paul, except with a higher chance of fewer civil liberties.

The first one is mediocre at best. The second is great, especially co op. The third is the pinnacle of the series. I'd play 2 though, it's worth it. If you can get 2 for reasonably cheap, go for it. But 3 is MILES better and you lose so little in 3 by not playing 2 or 1.

Honestly, the only Saints Row game you need to play is 3. The game's stories are standalone enough in that you don't really lose much of anything by having not played the previous games in the series. Saints Row 2 is a pretty good sandbox game, but Saints Row 3 is a legitimately great game.

If anyone has it, can someone walk me through the "Bring the thieves guild back to its former glory" achievement, cause I am at a loss. I've fully completed the Thieves Guild storyline. I don't have it, but I guess it requires you to do many (if not all) of the side jobs for the other guild members. Devlin said that one of the reasons you do jobs is to "re-take" cities so people fear the guild again.
