At first I thought; '80s Toy expo, wow!!! I want that over here! Then I saw you picked up Toybiz TNA... That stuff should not be allowed on an '80s Toy Expo. Remco AWA and LJN WWF, yes. They allow everything in it, that stuff was there too. My friend I found out had a ton of LJN stuff he blew out for ten bucks a piece before I could realize it. Who knows what rarities went out the door for way too little.

Hey,
I bought my TNA Toybiz Ring when it first came out but always had the problem of one of the turnbuckles constantly popping out of place.
I was wondering if this was a common problem for people or is it just me?
I also have the Six Sides of Steel by Toybiz but the cage parts always stopped any turnbuckle movement.
I've been thinking about ordering another six sided ring (maybe the X-Division one with the green jacket AJ?) but am worried it might have a loose turnbuckle again.
Also, if anyone else had this problem and fixed it, I'd love to know how.
Thanks!

There's an on demand section that has a bunch of WWE Network content with your subscription.
It might not have the level of stuff the US online one does but it's a lot nonetheless!

They don't play it on our Cartoon Network? Can we get it on DVD?

Hey, I went to the 80s Toy Expo this past weekend and had a super time, did anyone else go?
What did you pick up if you did?
I haven't taken photos yet but I picked up some M.U.S.C.L.E figures from North America and Japan.
I also picked up Jay Lethal (in orange) and Christian (in his entrance gear) from Toybiz TNA, still MOC.
I also got a SH FigArts Kinnikuman from my friend just got back from Japan.
Right now I'm debating on what I could pick up before the next show, like another TNA Toybiz ring.

I love series 1 but series 2 looks like it'll disappoint me, I'm definitely going to buy it though. 1. Worst case scenario, I wait a while, don't like them still, sell them. 2. It encourages Mattel to continue the line so they can make figures I'll be more excited about. What don't you like about Series 2? Who would you like to see in Series 3? I think they should have stuck to the time periods of the first set instead of jumping into WCW and Attitude Era stars. It makes the figures incompatible somewhat between series, it's okay to do that stuff after a while but I thought it was too early for such a jump. In Series 3 I'd like to see Diesel, Razor, Hogan, Rude, Bray Wyatt and Bayley. Off the top my head.

A part of me feels it would be somewhat modern looking with how many of the figures are from after the original Hasbro line time frame.

I definitely want to see female figures.
I'd want Diesel, Paul Bearer, Miss Elizabeth, Jimmy Hart, a referee and a retro ring with a steel cage.
If I really wanted to get crazy I'd want a classic commentary set of Heenan and Monsoon or McMahon and Savage or even JR and King.
I'd also really like new versions of Razor and 123 Kid.
Imagine if they did a Kliq, Curtain Call type multi-pack? Wow.

Definitely how he looked in the WWE2K commercial or in his final RAW appearance.
With Mattel I always want the most current version of him, unless it's a Retro set!

Just my favourites, Elite only unless it's a really uniquely shaped guy like Big Show or Mark Henry where their regular figures are just as amazing, sometimes more.

That's a scary thought, it'd mostly be on retro figures but since this is Mattel...umm...with Mattel I only collect what's current so I'd overpay on my favourite Owens Elite release and Reigns and HHH.
I'd definitely overpay on new Elite Hardy Boyz, I really hope they do a good job.

Yeah I would love a new Bray with an awesome headscan.
I think he'd really shine as a Mattel Retro figure though!

I think as long as you can't see the glue and if you're not going to play with them, who cares?
My only problem is that I find the glue is very hard to not notice and seems to need to be reapplied over the years, at least that's been the bane of my Jake Roberts existence.

The lack of accessories/title belts, side characters always bugged me. But more than anything, no steel cage. I was familiar with the LJN series thanks to friends and cousins who had those figures, so to see those figures with refs, managers, and more specifically a steel cage always bugged me. Then Galoob put out their WCW ring with a cage, and I never bought it because I was holding out, hoping Hasbro would make one for their WWF ring. So that would be my question. Were there ever any plans for a steel cage accessory? If you look at the wrestling ring, I could only think the size slots (ring skirt) was made for a Steel cage. But then again you look between 1990 and 1994, there was very few steel cage matches. I can think of Warrior Vs Rude SS1990 and then nothing until Steiners Vs ? On a episode of Raw? They didn't happen often. That's a very good point, I've never thought of that. I was thinking the same thing about Mattel, I want a new cage but they hardly use the cage nowadays especially compared to how often they use Hell in a Cell and Money in the Bank, so it seems like it'd at least be third down behind those two for a mass market release/re-release. I have thought that the Bendies LJN ring is pretty perfect for Hasbro and still classic WWF so it's not a huge loss. I'd be interested to know also, how Hasbro feels about the new Mattel Retro line?

That's a wicked cake and idea, I was thinking I wouldn't celebrate my birthday this year but giving it a theme tempts me to.
