Stupid question, but what is a mock up? That pic shown looks like a total fake with random parts thrown together That's what a mock-up is: a product put together to pitch an idea. The end product will look right or when the idea gets scrapped there is no end product at all. This mock-up is very real! Too bad the idea got scrapped.

As a mod I lock all topics beyond page 3, this way too old topics don't get bumped. To the OP I just wanted to point out it's real: it's a mock-up. You should have locked this thread now. Kind of a missed opportunity. Inwould have had a good laugh. There's no reason to lock this: not everyone knows about this mock-up.

I didn’t see the old thread. I don’t usually look for old threads cause 1. The search system on this site absolutely sucks and 2. the mods here are like nazis about posting in old threads for some reason. So I avoid that BS and just make new threads its a damned if you do, damned if you don't with "old" threads. post a new one, and someone is gonna bitch about there already being a thread. reply in an old thread, and someone is gonna bitch that you topped it. so basically, don't talk about anything ever...unless its posting the 92792893th picture of a newly released figure everybody's already seen As a mod I lock all topics beyond page 3, this way too old topics don't get bumped. To the OP I just wanted to point out it's real: it's a mock-up.

I found a pic on Yahoo images of some kind of monstrosity that I think Wikipedia was referring to. It has to be someones custom and not official. It has smash's torso and warrior #2 head. The arms look like modified Duggan arms, which makes it even worse...... It's very real and has been discussed in the past.

Surprised no one posted this yet: Hawkins and Ryder talked about them on the December 6th episode (the one about Luger and Doink) of the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast. According to them, Chalkline is involved, there’s a YB two-pack that will be sold online in early 2019, and there are “others to follow.” The discussion in the news segment, specifically at the 1:09:30 mark of the podcast. They stated it as fact, not opinion or speculation FWIW. Well we already figured out that the Chalk Line owner Neil B. Friedman bought LJN rights.

Very nice!
I only have Heavy Metal, Konnan, La Parka & Perro Aguayo MOC. Heavy Metal was my favorite lucha back in the '90s.

Too bad OSFTM didn't release Los Brazos (Brazo de Oro, Brazo de Plata & El Brazo), Sangre Chicana and Satánico...

Would love to see a photo of yours in the cases to see how they actually look. Yeah, tag cases are needed, I have some for mine, but they aren't as nice as Zolo or RSC. Now, if Mattel would make tag team retro packs, maybe there would be enough demand for RSC or Zolo to make one. Hey Guys, Not exactly sure how to post pictures are boards, I haven't done it in years. But, for those of you who are interested in seeing what they look like. I do have them posted on my IG account @blade_517 feel free to see how they look!! Hmm, Neil B. Friedman... Could he be related to original LJN owner Jack Friedman? From what I can find, that just appears to be the happiest of happy coincidences. He's not listed in any obits I can find from when Jack passed away a few years back. Two curiosities I did find perusing for this...a) I had no idea that Jack Friedman also founded Jakks Pacific, and b) a search for Neil B. Friedman not only brings up an attorney, but also a doctor in Baltimore, and an inductee into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame. Some Jack Friedman info I had already pointed out in this topic: LJN was dissolved in 1995, after being part of Acclaim since 1990. LJN was founded in 1970 by Jack Friedman, the same man that would found THQ in 1990 and co-found Jakks Pacific with Stephen G. Berman in 1995. On May 3 2010, Jack Friedman passed away at the age of 70 of complications from a rare blood disorder. I also searched for Neil B. Friedman now and found the following:
Seems he has plenty experience in the toyworld.

I did a bit of digging...from what I can tell, it's the folks behind Chalk Line Apparel (the makers of those somewhat gaudy snap button sport coats) putting this together. Here's the trademark record for the name 'LJN', filed by LJN Toys, LLC:Here's the trademark record for the familiar rainbow logo, also filed by LJN Toys, LLC:For comparison's sake, here's the trademark record for Chalk Line, owned by Chalk Line Apparel, LLC. Note the business address and attorney of record:Hmm, Neil B. Friedman... Could he be related to original LJN owner Jack Friedman?

I know little about the Remco line but it seems like there are not a lot of MOC figures available, at least as far as auction sites are concerned. And with so many big names in the line the values are only going to rise so $50 odd does not seem too bad. Does a Mattel elite sell for $25 RRP your part of the World? A Mattel WWE Elite figure is around $38 here. Sure $50 for an unpunched MOC set of Flair vs Zbyszko ain't a bad deal.

£40 odd seems like a very good price for that set, nice auction win. $50 without s&h, yes, a bit more than I had hoped

Traditionally on December 6 the children of Belgium, Luxembourg, northern France, the Netherlands and some former Dutch colonies celebrate the feast of Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas). Children receive gifts and sweets on this day. Thanks to the postman, this adult could celebrate Sinterklaas too! Ok, I won and paid an auction, but receiving it today made it a bit special. Attachment DeletedMy first regular MOC Remco AWA figures!

I don’t know to what extend Ljn is still active. Do they hold any major licenses? What do they have on the shelves of any major retailers? Do they expect to sell these in hot topic and fye type stores because even stores that cater to fanboys will have trouble moving a hangman page bendie. Unless they successfully market these to people who collect any random cool nostalgic trinket. Then they might have a chance. LJN was dissolved in 1995, after being part of Acclaim since 1990. Apparently someone is restarting LJN (as a brand or sub brand?).

Why does the owner pay to keep this domain running?? No idea, found out that the owner - Brenden M. Moore - has a personal site too as well as a Facebook profile. The site WAS real until the early 2000s: I bought at least one figure from that site, a Galoob Sting IIRC.
