Does anyone know why the toys and music dot com web site is sill up? They have hasbros and other vintage stuff in stock but it looks like a web site from 1994 ? You could contact the site owner and ask. BTW, that site started in 1997 as "What The World Is Watching" it was among the first wrestling figures sites I encountered in 1997.

I see a ton of people poo-pooing the games but Royal Rumble and Raw is War were two of my favorite games ever growing up. I still play both pretty much monthly on my SNES Classic. Bill & Ted, Maximum Carnage, Aliens 3 and Punisher were all good LJN games too. Plus, True Lies is an absolute classic. I saw this on twitter as well but don't understand why they would think LJN games are bad. Maybe I missed something. Is it cool to hate LJN or something? Technically LJN/Acclaim only published the games, they didn't make them. Somehow I liked Royal Rumble better than Raw is War. While they weren't the best games there were worse games: WWF Wrestlemania published by Ocean comes to mind...

If this is an NJPW deal: no past WWE guys. Ahh ok. If this picks up steam, any shot WWE wants in and partners with LJN again down the road? Or does Mattel have exclusive rights? Mattel is not exclusive, hence why Funko and Loyal Subjects can release WWE figures or Wicked Cool Toys can release rings and 31" figures.

I'm definitely interested, but after Cody Rhodes, Bucks, Jericho, Omega and the other select independent talent, who does WWE not own the rights over at this point? I'm not poo-pooing this, trust me. I just want this line to have permission to go to the moon with all legends past and present. Would be awesome! If this is an NJPW deal: no past WWE guys.

I guess we can lock this now. The prototypes are real and sold.

I kinda cringed when I was asked "Do you own any Hasbro prototypes?" It just reeked of "if you're not in dis bizniss, you dont know and should have no opinion" I just asked for why I was flawed, or wrong. But Zack didnt buy either one. Bet if he did, he would require some validation. Which may be why he didnt go after them...but you guys would have to ask him that. I like him and Hawkins, but not on board with their thoughts regarding these figures, until I see something behind it beside the seller's personal story. From the way he presents himself on here, Zack Ryder seems like a total tool. I am all for giving people their due when it's deserved, but the simple fact that Zack Ryder (or Matthew Cardona as a person I guess?) has a little bit of fame and fortune and he acts as if he's a God in the figure world. He has the means to obtain the rare and obscure figures and protos we all wish we could because of his status as a semi-active WWE Superstar. Zack, you're not a God and without your fame, you'd be in the same boat as all of us regarding your knowledge of figures. You come off as pretentious when you try to throw your knowledge around by giving little tidbits and withholding critical information. Most of us are fans of your character on TV, but we're all fans of figures which is why we're here in the first place. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and until there is concrete evidence, your status of a semi-active WWE Superstar isn't going to sell your word to everyone. I am sure this post will either be deleted or I will be reported because Zack probably can't handle getting his feelings hurt, much like the rest of the world. I am telling you how things work in the real world, not your bubble of WWE fans that bow down to your every tweet or instapost. Good day. Attacking Zack/Matthew for being a fortunate man is not necessary. Zack said it himself about Lex selling for $8,100: "The game has changed." Wrestling figure collectors should blame themselves for astronomic values... On any given day I can buy a Kenner Star Wars testshot relatively cheap, not so with a Hasbro WWF testshot. Even though I'm pretty sure worldwide there are more Kenner Star Wars collectors than Hasbro WWF collectors! Yes testshots, plastic that was meant to end up in the trashbin! Then there are 2UPs and (painted or unpainted) prototypes: oh even more valuable! Wrestling figure collectors are crazy people: especially when the figure is different, rare, not available in the U.S. or unreleased. Yes, I consider myself crazy too, sure I've never paid over $200 for one figure: but still just under $200 for one figure that 20 to 40 years ago cost $5 - $15 in a store is plain crazy! Are the Lex and Doink painted prototypes legit? They most probably are: they were painted examples to show to the WWF office. I'm also sure that the attention they raised online caused the high endprices.

Besides the few prominent njpw stars, I can’t imagine who else they’d pursue the rights to produce. NJPW legends? I think '80s WWF wrestlers are not possible...

Tag cases really are a problem... Hey guys- Those of you who are looking for protective cases for the WWF Hasbro tag-team sets. Zoloworld does have some that fit. I purchased 8 for my tag-team sets back in August and got the early November. They are currently out of stock. But, keep an eye out. Because, they should be in stock or ready for pre order within a couple weeks or so. They are called MOTU Deluxe cases $5.75 each!! Kind of huge: Inside Dimensions are 12 5/8"L x 9 1/8"W x 3 1/2" (bubble depth) Bubble Dimensions 8" x 9" measured center of case.

I mixed my AWA Remco figs with my He-Man figs as well. I also found another Remco line called the Warlord series which were ththe same scale. I used the Hercules from that set as Kerry Von Erich. Another one as Savage. Pretty cool set. I think I what I loved about the Remco series were th accessories. All the robes and jackets were awesome. I still have all of mine. It’s the only toys along with MOTU that I will never sell or haven’t sold from my childhood. The 2 referees everyone calls Curly Brown and Nasty Ned - but actually are nameless ("referee" in the Battle Royal sets) - use the heads of Machiste and Mikola from Remco's the Lost World of the Warlord (a DC comic) series.

Funskool figures were official, licenced by Hasbro for India. G.I. Joe figures for India were also by Funskool. Funskool figures are on flimsy cards, the plastic used for the figures is of inferior quality and mostly they have a red hue compared to Hasbros, gold accessories look more bronze. Funskool figures came on blue or red cards. Known Funskool figures: Blue Card: DiBiase 1 (bronze $-belt) Hogan 1 Perfect 1 Piper Smash 1 Warrior 2 Red Card: Bigelow Luger Ramon 1 (bronze necklace) Undertaker 1 /w coat Yokozuna 1 Ruby what’s your views on Honky Tonk Man Funskool ? Haven't seen one yet (MOC or loose).

Random question because I don't really know about these things, but why wouldn't they just re-paint one of the actual figures, rather than going through the effort of creating casts for them and waiting for them to set etc? If these were created solely to help visualise what the final product would look like, surely re-painting an actual plastic figure would give a more accurate representation? Genuine question....I haven't got a clue lol They probably don't have figures laying around, but they do have the moulds.

How do I post pics from my iPhone? You'll have to upload them to an image hosting site like Imgur, then on Imgur where your photo is you'll see an embedding code to use on forums: copy & paste that here.

Not want to derail this thread, but I was offered a MOC Funskool Razor. Condition seems to be relatively good („Funskool good“). What is the typical rate for one? I offered him 200 and he had a good laugh. I was a little irritated as I thought something between 200 amd 250 would be a fair offer... In early November one sold for less than $250, but the J-hook was ripped.

I have Greg Gagne and Curt Henning. They have the pants but are missing the vests and hats. Found them at a Goodwill about a year ago for $1 each. This line is crazy like that. You can find some figures complete for dirt cheap, and some that are missing just sunglasses or something for cheap. But some figures complete are BIG dollars! I'm still trying to get a good checklist on them going. I know shawn michaels and marty jannetty complete sell for hundreds each. They are very rarely seen on ebay. A pair of their glasses were just sold for like $75. Another thing is a lot of people sell repro cloth items. Like Scott hall's jacket. You can get a repro for $20. I don't even know how much a real one goes for. I bought the Road Warriors and had to do some studying to make sure they were what I was being charged for. You can get the chaps for like $15-$20 but I wanted original. Still got the 2 with chaps and collars for $25 with no belts. I was the only bidder. Lucky me. Damn, missed the glasses: my Jannetty needs his shades... Besides Jannetty without shades I own: loose: The Fabulous Ones - Steve Keirn & Stan Lane (complete) Jim Brunzell (complete) The Road Warriors & Paul Ellering (complete, including Tag titles) referee Dick Woehrle moc: Mini Mashers 12-pack Thumbsters Greg Gagne vs Road Warrior Hawk
