I was banging on about it being a 2-in-1, and to be honest, I still think it should have been. A WCW Product, 20 years after the promotion died off, seems like it will have a limited fan base in general. How many people were watching WCW back then, that 20 years later will want to spend megabucks on a titantron set up? A 2-in-1 would have drawn in the Raw Is War fans that just went out and bought the ring/Kane combo in anticipation of the crowdfund being Attitude Era themed. The very common figures (Rey, Warrior, Hogan and DDP are already readily available) being tacked on doesn't really do a whole lot here. I get that you want a big name to anchor it (warrior would have been a good early bird, but the figure should be wearing the duster in the pics to help sell it) and then you should have had more obscure wrestler/outfit choices that may not sell too well at retail (WCW Champion Booker T or Bischoff with the beard/stubble for example). DDP in jeans seems really sought after, so even including soft-goods jeans on this DDP figure would have been a wise idea, surely?). If they struggled with getting the figures right, an extra tier would have been good, if it was a little platform with an announce desk on it. I was never a big WCW fan, so I wouldn't be backing this anyway, but I will compliment their efforts on the stage itself. It's genuinely amazing looking. The detail, the lights, the effort that went into that is incredible. My wet dream would be the same level of work going into a 2003 Titantron. I'd back that in a heartbeat. I hope they sort the electronic issues from the last stage (apparently it turned itself off after 30seconds or so). This should be able to be left with it's lights turned on permanently, and I presume it's plug-in and not battery operated. I won't be involved, especially not at the international prices they want to charge, but I wish them the absolute best with it and I hope, for the sake of those who do back, that it reaches all the tiers and they might, hopefully, chuck an extra or two in again (I believe Macho was a late announcement last time as the crowdfund was struggling?) to garner interest in it. My exact thoughts. I think a RA entrance stage or RAW IS WAR would have been a home run.

It's a thing of beauty... if it doesn't get funded then you all suck Not everyone loves a defunct wrestling company that went away 22 years ago, so can you really blame people who don’t back it? I don’t love WCW enough to drop $100 on it, and especially at $400, no way. They could have atleast dropped better figures. The only one that looked remotely plausible for this project is Scott Steiner. I swear, we don’t need another Hogan or Warrior (with jeans).

I hate to say it but I'm genuinely disappointed. Given the RAW IS WAR stage was shown months before this Nitro one, I seriously thought they'd go with it first. And for Mattel to be primarily the maker of WWE figures and in conjunction with the RAW ring being released, I honestly don't know why they went with this. I'm pleased for any WCW fan out there, but I'm genuinely gutted that this is the choice. Even the last tease about taking us back to the Monday night wars, I thought this 2 in 1 stage might happen. More annoyed that if this doesn't fund, they ain't going to attempt the RAW stage. Even if they do, it means that ain't happening for 2 years! At least this has saved me £470... Right!? I thought it made perfect sense for this to be the RAW IS WAR stage. We already have the ring to go with it. I think the stage would have been more cost efficient since it doesn’t have as much lighting and detail. I’m disappointed for sure but atleast I’m saving myself $400. Better luck for the next time they do this.

Yeah I’m afraid I won’t back this. I was never a WCW guy to begin with, and the choice of figures? Meh. ANOTHER Hogan and a Warrior in jeans?!
Scott Steiner is the only cool addition. But yeah, I would have rather seen an attitude era stage set, or Smackdown fist.

I thought it would be the raw is war stage for sure considering they already put out the ring for it.
If it’s Nitro it’s an easy pass for me. Was never a WCW fan.

The HOF has been a joke for years and years. Honestly, maybe, half of those who got inducted already truly belong in the hall of fame. It’s merely a “who’s on good terms with the company appreciation award” more than a hall of fame based on merit.

He has a certain amount of creative liberties to his current character, but to what extent, not sure. Either way, I don’t think he is capable of breaking into that 3rd gear. He still talks in circles and metaphors and hasn’t been able to break that cycle for a decade. Very lackluster in the ring. I don’t know how you can see that character for that long and put all the blame on the company, I’m sure there’s a decent amount of blame on both sides. But there’s talent that has been given less opportunities and made more out of them than Bray Wyatt. I understand what your saying but we need to be honest, if Cult leader Wyatt didn't lose basically every match that character would still be around and possibly a top play. Wyatt created The Fiend and Funhouse stuff and you cannot deny how successful it was with the fans, they ate everything up Wyatt did during that period. Then Vince decides to have him lose two important matches that completely ruined that character. The current storyline is a mystery, maybe Wyatt is on a part time contract or perhaps he is injured or unwell, we don't know but it's sad to see how bad his return has been. It's easy to say that the wrestler holds responsibility for their failure and to be honest they do if they don't try, but in Wyatt's case I feel that for the past decade he has gave his all and got nothing in return. Take Gunther for example, an excellent talent and tremendous worker but Vince was planning to turn him into a jobber before HHH took over. Now had that happened his hard work would come to nothing. He could bust his ass off every week and be made to look like a joke. You could be the best and most entertaining wrestler in the world but bad creative gives you a very low ceiling. Cult leader Wyatt came in hot, but honestly, how do you know it would have had legs to last to this day? I don’t think that same character had legs beyond a 2-3 year run. He would have had to evolve. Instead, he devolved into weird gimmicks as the years went on. I’m not saying he didn’t give it his all or didn’t meet some bad creative. He did have success. I’m just saying, regardless of bad creative, Vince’s vision, or Hunter’s vision, I don’t think he has the ability to be more than what he’s already shown. He’s not a very good wrestler. He has great delivery with his promos, but the content is never clear. When you talk in circles and metaphors for a decade, you’ve lost me. The only way he can win me over is to have an American Badass Taker type run. I’m not saying be exactly that, but he needs to step away from the gimmicks and become a more realistic version of that Bray Wyatt character. I’m not sure what that would look like, but it’s worth trying because this stuff he’s doing now is DOA.

Good riddance With or without Vince involved, Bray Wyatt is not very good and he’s proven that time and time out with so many opportunities. I wanted to give him another chance when he came back, considering it was under Vince’s thumb which ruined his initial run, but mannnnn it’s been even worse. Time for them to cut their losses. The fact that he’s been back for this many months and has had one televised match and a bunch of cringe filled segments has been absolutely hilarious and sad at the same time. You really can't blame Wyatt personally for the bookers decisions. Despite how disappointing his return has been its the storywriters who write the shows and they decide what he does. IMO Wyatt is a victim of bad creative. His constant loses ruined The Cult Gimmick, jobbing him to Goldberg and Orton killed The Fiend and current booking is making him a joke. He has a certain amount of creative liberties to his current character, but to what extent, not sure. Either way, I don’t think he is capable of breaking into that 3rd gear. I’m sure Bill has that information. But you have to take into consideration who has had the most figures under the line. I think it’s Cena or Mysterio. I’m not sure which one had more, but I’m willing to bet that it’s either one of them.
