He's one of the few that would be DANGEROUS if they went to TNA. He's over enough that he could seriously benefit another company and they know that. The guy got over on his own on the internet... just imagine what he could do if he was let loose on live TV. I disagree. It's way easier to cut a promo that you can edit on an online show than it is in front of a live audience. I like the guy but he has looked like a deer in the headlights when he is on the spot

I actually just watched both recently and I'd have to say I enjoyed Hogan/Andre more. Obviously Macho/Steamboat is the better match but the spectacle of the main event was just awesome and I was surprised to find myself still more into it after all this time.
Both are certified classics in their own, different ways

I will never personally consider any modern day title holders as record holders over ones of the past due to the way they are passed around.
Also in my mind the current "World Heavyweight Title" isn't a top title to me. I kinda equate it with what the intercontinental title used to be.

Good stuff here. I also don't remember much of the Flair/Piper fued in the Winter of 91 I believe.

They should have Punk/Heyman/Brock form an alliance and fued with Cena/HHH through the rest of the year. This could eventually lead to the inevitable Punk/Brock split and fued.
Or have Brock cause Rock his match against Punk at the rumble which could easily set up Brock/Rock and Cena/Punk at WM.
The other option would be to have Brock cost Punk the title at the rumble and have Rock/Cena 2 for the title and Punk/Brock.
I prefer the first scenario but have no clue where that would leave taker

Did you purposely skip No Mercy or are you saving it for the grand finale?

I really enjoy punk the wrestler, one of the only handful of things I enjoy these days but the guy comes across as such a self righteous arrogant dbag. He obviously thinks his crap don't stink.
Not to mention him completely ignoring his love affair of Austin during the whole Chris Brown ordeal.

That's the point. WWE is so worried about their image, Linda's race and stepping on anyone's toes that the will can someone for a minor off the cuff reference from 10 years ago that at least half the audience won't even get.
They have lost there balls. It's not about "attitude" before anyone brings that up. Jesse Ventura would makes these kinds of comments all the time in the mid 80's.

WWE has become so rigid and lame about this type of stuff it's a shell of it's former self.
Bummer because AW was one of the handful of people in the company with a shred of personality that seemed actually genuine and not forced. PTP are gonna feel the effects of this as well.
Everything he said is true. Good for him for speaking his mind.

I never got the love for Papa Shango. I will admit it was a neat because it was different but it was a little cheesy and his run was short. And did he even have a real feud besides the aborted one with the warrior?

Gotta go with the Hot Rod. Should have had a run for a few months leading up to WM1 only to lose to Hogan with Mr. T in his corner.

They both entertain me when they are on tv. That's about it I could really care less about any of the outside BS.

Obviously the ones stated: Rockers split, Mega Powers Explode, HHH at WM15
One I always thought was well done, but pretty much insignificant was Tantanka being the one who "Sold Out" to the Million Dollar Man and turned on Lex Lugar.

Easily the most fun I've had watching wrestling in a while.
As someone else said it was the first ep I didn't fastfoward through in lord knows how long, except for the commercials of course.

Completely disagree. This was true untill they made the titles worth absolutely nothing. Swagger and Miz are not main eventers to me. Just because they throw a now worthless title on you does not make you main event. IMO only Cena, Punk and Orton are true main eventers. Sheamus and Bryan are on the verge. I also pretty much equate the WHC to what the IC title used to be when it had worth. The Miz MAIN EVENTED and won Wrestlemania 27.. You can sit there after that and honestly say he was a mid carder the entire time? So did king kong bundy and Sargent slaughter when he was way past his prime. Yes they "main evented" but I wouldn't consider them consistent main eventers

The fact that most of you never saw anything coming from the guys mentioned says more about the current state of the business and wwe's roster depth than it does any crowd captivating gift the performers have that draws an audience. A midcard talent with the heavyweight title is still a midcarder....What? No they aren't, if they have the world title that means they received a push to the main event. Going by your theory, we'd never have any main eventers. I agree with the storyline aspect.
A few others are: The majority of the wrestlers being the same generic cookie cutter character Everyone besides Punk and Bryan having such a limited move set that it feels like its the same match over and over with the participants swapped out.
