The press conference was pretty good, except the prick that was trying to start sh*t between Diaz and the other fighters.

I think Roy Nelson is real tough. One of the toughest fighters out there. Not too many people would feel good about standing and trading punches with Junior, and he did it. He'll always have my respect, but I think Mirko comes into this motivated and not caring about anything else. It's his last fight on his contract, and possibly his last fight ever. The way I saw him at the work outs, he looks good. Roy does too, but I think Cro Cop just lets it all hang out Saturday. That's been his problem in his last few fights, pulling the trigger. It's not like he's gotten technically worse, because he hasn't. He just needs to be confident. Fine. If you say Cro-Cop looks good, then I'll take your word for it. You'd know more than I would. However, I don't know man...Thinking Cro-Cop can KO Roy Nelson is a HUGE, bold prediction and not very likely to happen, especially by someone who has a ZERO percent KO rating in the UFC. Cro-Cop has NEVER knocked anyone out in the UFC. Not even his debut opponent Eddie friggin' Sanchez, could he knock him out. Not only has he NOT knocked anyone out in the UFC, I don't think he's come remotely close on any occasion to knocking anyone out in the UFC. And I just cannot get it through my thick head why you would think he could start now this late in his UFC career and especially KO someone who took Junior's best shots and Junior still couldn't drop him. On the other hand, Cro-Cop has been viciously KO'd by Gonzaga, Frank Mir and most recently Brendan Schaub. Hell, even Pat Barry was able to drop him twice in their fight. Barry wasn't able to finish him off, but he still tagged him twice, quite good. Like I said, I don't think Cro-Cop can take a solid punch anymore. His best days are CLEARLY behind him. I can see Big Roy dropping him in the first round and more than likely, put an end to his MMA career.

Ok, I'll just chime in - I think Cro-Cop can KO Nelson too... whether he will is a different story, but I certainly think he's capable of it. It will be his last fight in the UFC (and possibly ever) so I think he will just go for it - and I don't care if Nelson hung in there with Dos Santos and Frank Mir, if he gets hit cleanly by Cro-Cop's left leg, he's going to sleep (...Nelson was badly hurt and stopped by Arlovski, remember). It should be an exciting fight... either one could get KO'd at any time, but it would be great to see Cro-Cop go out with a win.

Ok, maybe I over-reacted at first but now that I actually stop to think about the possibility, it IS possible. I'll give you that. ANYTHING is possible in MMA at any given time. Even the most unlikely of scenarios IS possible. You just never know for sure, right? But as you said, it IS possible of him KO'ing Nelson, but wether he will or not, is a completely different story. I did not know it was his last fight in the UFC. Maybe that'll change things. Maybe he'll become a more vicious fighter that just lets his fists and legs fly. That's what he needs to do in this one. Leave everything he has in the Octagon that night. And you are right, Big Roy was caught and stopped by Arlovski, but that wasn't quite the KO's Cro-Cop has been on the recieving end as of late. Those ones were BAD. It'll be a very interesting fight. I really don't want to see Cro-Cop get viciously KO'd again...The dude is a legend in MMA. If it truly is his last fight ever, then I'd like to see him get the "w" and go out on top like Chris Lytle. That was a perfect end to a great career. Cro-Cop deserves an ending like that.

LoL at Roy Nelson weighing in, in a fat-suit.

The weigh-in was pretty awesome. The line to get in there was a pain and moved very slow for whatever reason. I loved Nelson's fat suit.

It's also pretty amazing how tall Hioki is. I thought Roop would have a few inches over him.

Updated the card with the correct fight-order and my predictions. I'm also now going to predict what the fight bonuses will be... Fight of the night: B.J. Penn vs. Nick Diaz Submission of the night: Hatsu Hioki Knockout of the night: Mirko Filipović (fingers crossed)/Cheick KongoLOL No chance, I've got way more faith in Kongo who just earned a poop ton of respect off me in his last fight. I see Mirko getting KTFO, and honestly I have no issue with that.

I bet Roy Nelson is shredded!! That's why he wore the fat suit. He want's people to still think that he's a fat pig but I bet he's gonna show up to the cage and take his shirt off to reveal his newly acquired 6-pack!!

So im going to go out on the limb and say Penn/Diaz will end up being a MOTY candidate. This match-up just screams ALL OUT WAR to me. Couldn't be more excited to see these two scrappers stand up and go at it.

If BJ beats Diaz, and GSP beats Condit... Are they going to give us BJ Vs GSP III?

Woo! Nick Diaz rocks! - Anyway to everyone on Sherdog, everyone online who said Penn was elite and Diaz wasn't anywhere in his league, screw you!

Penn got worked. Great fight though, sad to hear what BJ said after the match. It looked like he desperately wanted to get out of the cage.

Diaz is an animal. Shame both Penn and Cro Cop are retiring. I was especially gutted after the Cro Cop loss. I really wanted him to go out on top.
Not sure if Diaz wants to wait for winner of GSP/Condit. Looks like that fight may happen Superbowl weekend. So maybe Diaz should take another fight in the meantime.

Sick fight between Nick and BJ. Penn looked great in the first but got trapped into Diaz's pitter-patter-corner you style. Sucks to hear Penn wanting to retire, guy is still in his prime, but still lots of love for the prodigy. I cannot stand Diaz, but I'd be beyond a fool to not recognize his skills inside the cage. With that being said, GSP will decision his ass, lol. There is no way GSP will get beat up against the cage like that. I'm thinking they should go with Diaz vs Condit for number one contender now.
Cro Cop fought a damn good fight. I'm glad he didn't get knocked out silly like in his last two fights. Props to Big Country for looking in shape, at least in shape by his standards.
Mitrione Vs Kongo was a let down. Meathead has to learn to setup his strikes with kicks and jabs. He practically gave the first round away.
Slightly above average card in my books. No regrets for purchasing it, and a good solid night of fights.

It's not exactly fair to take Condit's shot away, but man, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see Diaz/GSP next. Seems like that's the fight GSP wants as well but who knows what the UFC will do.
If they go with GSP/Diaz next, have Condit fight Koscheck. If they carry on with GSP/Condit, have Diaz fight Koscheck. Although, if GSP/Condit happens, somehow I think they'll just make Diaz wait it out rather than risk him losing.
