The Legion of Doom def. The Demolition (c) (w/Crush) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF World Tag Team Champions. The final showdown between the top tag-teams in the world clash with LoD pinning Crush (who wasn't a legal man and interfered) to win the World title. The referee didn't notice but still awarded the belts as Demolition leave in frustration.



Hulk Hogan def. Typhoon (w/Jimmy Hart) via pinfall. Hogan bodyslams Typhoon, lands the big boot and legdrop for the pin and win. Hogan celebrates posing and waving the American flag

Mean Gene with Ultimate Warrior:



Gene: I am here at this time with the World Wrestling Federation Champion, the Ultimate Warrior and we are just moments away from the biggest match of your career ...

Warrior: Ahhhhh! Moments, seconds, minutes time does not matter anymore for you're time has come Macho Man (Gene shakes his head like what in the world), Randy Savage will not prevail the Macho Man will feel the wrath of all the warriors of the ancients from those above watching us as destiny clashes (Gene looks away as Warrior talks nonsense), ahhhh! (leaves)

Gene: This is a big one back to you Gorilla.

The Ultimate Warrior (c) vs. Randy "Macho Man" Savage for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship with Special Guest Referee: Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat



Ricky Steamboat is brought out first as the special guest referee. Randy Savage makes his way out without his famous robe and glasses on the ringcart taking him to the ring. He looks upset as he gets into the ring and points at the crowd waiting for the Warrior. The Warrior decides to run to the ring as he gets in shaking the ropes and handing the belt to the referee. The match starts up similar to the original Wrestlemania VII bout.

Warrior overpowers Randy. Later on Randy gets the upper hand working on the neck of the Warrior. Randy jumps over the ropes with Warrior landing on the rope itself to fall back down on the mat. Randy lands a double axe handle and tosses Warrior to the outside. The crowd with a mixed reaction are so much into the match. Warrior is up climbing on the railings till Randy lands a double axe handle for Warrior's neck to make impact on the top of the railing! Ricky Steamboat who remembers this incident starts to warn Randy about it.

Randy tosses Warrior back in the ring. He goes for the ringbell but Ricky stops him. Randy pushes him aside and gets in the ring with the ringbell. Ricky gives his final warning. Randy is about to use it on Warrior, but as the fans start screaming no, Randy decides not to use it. Randy has Warrior up, but Warrior starts retaliating. He lands two leaping shoulderblocks on Randy. A third shoulderblock Randy falls right outside of the ring. Warrior shakes the ropes and gets to the outside.

Warrior lands punches and launches Randy into the steel steps! Ricky warns Warrior but Warrior shrugs. Warrior lifts Randy and throws him into the ring. Warrior gets to the top rope, but Randy in desperation jumps for a superplex from the top! Both men are out of it as the crowd is on their feet in excitement. Randy is up and starts to expose a turnbuckle as Ricky is looking towards the Warrior. Randy jumps Warrior who is up but Warrior lands punches on his back, but Randy turns around and pushes him neck first into the exposed turnbuckle!

Randy Savage goes to the top rope and lands the elbow drop for the pin to TWO!!



Randy can't believe it as even the crowd was sure it was over. This is the first time someone kicks out of the finisher (in this timeline). Randy tries to go for a second elbow drop, but Warrior moves out of the way! Warrior lands two leaping shoulderblocks and lifts Randy for the gorilla press slam for the one...two....shoulder up! The crowd is in utter shock.



Warrior looks to the heavens and stares at his hands. He can't believe that Randy could kick out.



Randy is still outcold. Warrior is about to leave believing it's not his destiny as Gorilla says. Ricky tries to get him back in the ring. Ricky threatens and is heard on the camera that if Warrior leaves he forfeits the match instead of a countout. Warrior is back in and tries to lift up Randy, but Randy plays dead. Warrior tries to get him up again but Randy suddenly goes for a small package for the pin and win!

Winner: Randy "Macho Man" Savage via pinfall and NEW WWF World Heavyweight Champion



Warrior is in shock that he lost. Randy is hurt as Ricky helps him up and hands over the WWF Championship belt. Warrior looks at Randy and it looks like he's about to hit him, but Warrior shakes his hand runs off. Randy holds the belt high in celebration. Randy and Ricky Steamboat get on the ring platform, but they also notice on their way back Queen Sherri clapping her hands as Wrestlemania goes off the air.
