We can leave this here. Least till people start to complain.
As for the match, I think it will be good. Jericho isn't as fast as he used to be, but he can still deliver with the right opponent. Omega is in his prime. So they should mesh well. Even if somehow it doesn't live up to the hype, I'm sure it will be over romanticized anyhow. 9 stars?

Maybe on top of this being just a treat for everyone, this will be a wake up call to Vince, to start engineering more top quality match ups and stop wasting the talent he has at his disposal.
Hard to see this as a one and done for Jericho, he’s probably gonna have a few matches over there next year, at least that’s what I believe he’d like to do. He’s gonna have an absolute blast doing this.

Good on Jericho for agreeing to teach that young buck Omega how to work! Lol....ive got jokes. This should be a great match, and give NJPW even more exposure to a new crop of fans. I'm not one to give a damn about star ratings, so i won't speculate that. I either like a match,or i don't. I don't see any way this could fall into the latter category.

Out of no where really, thought Omega vs Ibushi was certain to happen (and probably would have been better). I'm praying that this is a sign that Omega is WWE bound. If Omega goes over a big WWE star like Chris Jericho at NJPW's biggest show, and the plan is for Omega to then come to WWE, then he'll be coming with a more familiar reputation to people who might not be as aware of him, and it means they can skip the process of having to build him from scratch. They can just bill him as one of the true Best in the World, having just beaten WWE's own Jericho.
In terms of the Match, I'm sure it'll be fine, but I wouldn't expect it to be 5 stars. Jericho, as good of a worker as he is, just can't go at the same pace the likes of Naito, Okada, AJ Styles etc can.

How pissed is Vince right now? He shouldn't be. Pretty sure Jericho is on part time status with WWE anyway

He’s probably making more money and having more fun than he’ll ever have in his career. I am nearly certain they would misuse him heavily. At best, he’ll have a run like AJ Styles has had, which isn’t bad, but the roster is so stacked that there’s a bunch of talent who flounder around. And I’m almost certain that Omega isn’t interested in going to NXT either.

It's practically impossible for him to be used as well in WWE as he is in NJPW. Not to mention having to water down his matches.

Imagine if NJPW agreed to lend Omega to WWE for Mania to do him vs Styles? This is cool but if they did agree to some kind of exchange, 2 Jericho/Omega matches would be lackluster. Doubt Jericho would get a win over him too.
It’s intersting though. I doubt Vince signed off on this without getting something in return.
