Like i said in the puro, i picked the perfect time to want to start my subscription for NJPW World when i buy the Amazon Fire Box. Also, i figured Jericho was still under contract with WWE but since Jericho has a great relationship with Vince, he got the OK. Now if NJPW were real competition to WWE, then this would have never been allowed, so ill thank Vince a little bit for allowing this, and thank NJPW for making this match happened.
Edit: Now Meltzer is saying his contract with WWE expired. Until Jericho says his contract expired, im gonna go with Jericho got the OK, and I usually believe Meltzer BTW

Jericho has proven he can still deliver great matches so i expect it to be a really good match.

Crazy day! Triple H also appeared at ICW. Thought there might be a chance of this happening on the cruise or perhaps Jericho was just helping Omega get publicity with his audience and giving him a rub, this is insane. Jericho has always said he's a WWE guy and would never wrestle anywhere else again. This is going to be so cool, seeing Jericho go back to his routes in Japan.

Well the latest rumor is Jericho has been in talks with NJPW since August and that him working with them is total on his own and nothing to do with the WWE.Reports are this also has to do with his Cruise next year and Jericho went to WWE and ask if his wrestling cruise could team up with WWE and more so NXT but Triple H and company turned him down and that's why he's using ROH talent instead.
Again this is just a report that's online today.So I could see Jericho doing this if WWE truly did burn him and that he might also work with ROH at somepoint in 2018.Plus no matter what he can also walk right back into the WWE,he's one of only a handful of guys left that are true superstar talents that are still actively wrestling at a decent level and someone that can still bring in the older fan base.
I real hope that Jericho works whatever amount of dates he wants in 2018 with NJPW/ROH and takes the year off from the WWE.Jericho Vs Briscoe,Osepary,Okada,White,Scrull,Young Bucks...ect would all be interesting and fun.

How pissed is Vince right now? He shouldn't be. Pretty sure Jericho is on part time status with WWE anyway Yeah but I think Jericho is known as one of Vince's guys at this point. I can't imagine he'd be too thrilled at the thought of a WWE lifer wrestling at his competition's biggest show of the year. Unless WWE has something to gain from this like someone posted earlier. |

With as much talent the two promotions have had go back and forth, I wouldn't doubt if some sort of joint working agreement is being worked on or already has been done. So many shots fired from talent on both sides in the last year or so point to some serious angles that can be worked.
This may just be wishful fantasy booking, but I see it happening in the near future. Especially if Gallows and Anderson return to NJPW and the Bullet Club.

I was already planning on subscribing again in January for Wrestle Kingdom 12, but this pretty much confirms it as a can't miss event.
I've been out of the loop since the G1, but I enjoyed everything I watched over the course of the summer. You get a lot of great content for less than you pay to watch WWE Network, and you just know that WK12 will be worth it alone. The site is easy to navigate and it doesn't require a great amount of effort to cast it on a Apple TV or Roku either if that's one of your hang-ups.
The only reason I stopped my subscription a few months back is because I didn't have the time to watch everything.

I have a feeling this is something Jericho talked with Vince/WWE first. I don’t think he would do something that could possibly piss Vince off or wreck the good relationship they have without talking to him first. I’m sure that Vince knows Jericho is a loyal WWE guy for life, and this is just something Jericho wanted to do because it’s a dream match for himself and many fans, and with Jericho getting older and Omega not showing interest in a WWE jump anytime soon, it was really a now or never thing.
