Well it was nice being able to discuss SD without people bringing up AEW. I take it you're not in support of a possible "Wednesday Night War" thread then lol

With Brock, Cain and Ronda I’m glad to see WWE just admit they can’t create stars and hire old UFC stars instead. It's time for you WWE diehards to admit is to. The funny thing is that Cain was never a big draw, and was beaten by Dos Santos for the title right after he beat Brock. The crowd was dead when he came out because the majority of the mass audience has no clue who Cain is. Even if it’s a one-shot for their Saudi Show this does nothing for the WWE except appease some Fox officials.

At first, when the camera was far away showing Rey and Cain come out, I thought it was Rey's son coming out to beat up Lesnar. Nope! Instead it's some middle age looking, out of shape, tatted up guy who is supposed to be a threat to Lesnar. No thanks!

The stage looked fantastic and I thought the show was good. Now, why the hell does the raw stage look like shit? Anything would of been better than the skate ramp.

A few things I gotta say.
Kofi had a great title reign, was a great champion, and it's a damn shame that it ended like this.
I'm sick of this company going back to the Brock Lesnar well every single time. Build up the wrestlers you already have instead of going back to the same absentee wrestler.
A Brock vs. Cain match DOES NOT need the WWE Championship involved in it. This match is fine by itself with no championship involved. I still don't care for this potential match either way.
And why is Rey Mysterio, a guy who has beaten people bigger than him his entire career, getting help before even attempting to wrestle Brock by himself. I get that Rey's arm is in a sling, but Rey couldn't have challenged Brock for a later date, lose, THEN decide I need some help? Hell, Cain could have came out by himself, or by having someone else introduce him.

Looked like Rey was about to crap his pants.

This is great and everything, but will they be pulling in these numbers for non-nostalgic shows? They need to do this every week. On USA network wwe shows will get a massive audience for a nostalgia show and then it goes back down when they go back to normal. I don't know what the big deal is about the draft? They did one in April and nothing changed after. I guess this is supposed to bring in viewers, but when the roster is split in half surely numbers will go down?

after getting that great rating, they are going to do everything they can to make SD a strong show.
Roman is staying, Braun probably going, AJ, Owens, New Day...the big boys are gonna play on SD. RAW will have Rollins, Bray....maybe Orton....who knows. But they are going to be putting a LOT of effort into Smackdown moving forward

The Show was good last night but I can do without a Brock Lesnar title run (Which was a Fox call let's be real). I'll laugh if they put the WWE Title on Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36.

I’ve never really cared about looking into viewership and whether a show is selling tickets quickly and I also don’t understand why dirtsheets are so obsessed with that kind of stuff, but 4 million viewers is really impressive when you take into account that fox has had contract issues with a couple cable providers recently and playoff baseball went head to head with wwe.

I take it you're not a UFC fan hence your sarcasm. If UFC was a work Brock would have won that fight so UFC could be making more money with him defending the title.

I didn't know Kofi Kingston was beat in ten seconds. It was obvious Brock Lesnar would become WWE champion again.
