F*ck. This one hits hard. A part of me wonders how much he shared with Tony, and if he knew he was fighting a losing battle and going out in a blaze of glory. Thanks for the memories Mr. Brodie Lee, I'll never look at a stack of paper the same way.
All I can think of is that story he told on the podcast about his little boy sleeping with the TNT championship. Seriously f*ck this year.

Sad to hear a really solid big man with a ton a talent that was just now finally getting his due.Glad that he at least got the spotlight for a bit and got this run in AEW.Got to finally get a world title match,leader of his own stable and a run with a meaningful singles title.
Wonder if he had lung cancer and maybe didn't know about it until a few months ago or something,seems so totally out of the blue.

Wow talk about completely out of the blue, this sucks. I loved his work (I'll say though, I never liked the whole Mr. Brodie Lee gimmick), and I don't think he ever truly got his due, even in AEW. Was clear he was a man that truly loved his family and if there is any small consolation it's that he died with those he loved around him. RIP big man.

It’s almost unbelievable just how many wrestlers pass away. In a business of surprises and big pops, these deaths always seem to have the same unexpected reaction from me as is common with pro wrestling. You just don’t see this in any other form of entertainment, and wrestling has a much smaller roster than something like 1 NFL team.
Poor guy, RIP.

Stunned to hear the news, he was pretty young. He pretty much disappeared after losing the belt to Cody, wonder if there was something up with him back then. Most underrated guy in the business. RIP Jon Huber aka Brodie Lee
