Totally on the fence on this one.
Would probably have been more inclined to buy with a better figure choice. Don’t need a 4th diesel at all. Announcer Vince it any ftitl new gen figure could have got me. For now it’s a maybe.

I've never joined a crowd funder and have a question. Say I back the project do I choose how much money to donate and does that amount then get deducted from the total cost on the final price? No. You commit to the $250. If it hits 5,000 then you’ll be charged the $250, usually just after the pre-order window closes. If it doesn’t hit 5,000 then you spend nothing.

Think of it as a pre-order, but you only get charged if they sell 5,000+ units. The price is a flat $250+shipping. If they sell fewer than 5,000, it doesn't get made it all and you won't be charged. If they sell more and hit certain levels, they'll add extra goodies but you still only pay $250. It's like paying for the ring, stage, fig, then gambling that enough people also ordered to land you sweet bonuses. If they don't sell enough, you don't lose a thing except perhaps your hopes and dreams.

so why even do it? Why make toys of any wrestler from before 2002 then? as long as they dont have the generic wwf/e logo then its fair game. but to pretend that its ok putting the weird retro wwe logo on the wwf spot where its obviously out of place is just sad.

In the Mattel Creations video, Sweaty Bill looked like he would rather be working on an Elite wave with Drew Gulak, Jaxson Ryker, Matt Riddle, Chad Gable and Otis in their USA flag attires. Does anyone actually think referring to him as "sweaty Bill" is funny? Bullying is not cool people, I don't care if it's a grown adult. Grow up. Yikes, this is so cringy… Bill actually embraces it and it’s the name given to him by his own Elite Squad. He even wears the “Make Bill Sweat” t-shirt. Where have you been? Nice try though…

i seriously doubt this will actually hit 5k but i hope it does You don’t think there’s 5k collectors that might want this out of thousands? Online retailers like Ringside will probably order some too. Dorkside were selling the Haslab Sentinel and Galactus.

I really doubt this hits 5K. There are Ringside Exclusives that cost 25 dollars that sit on the site for years.
I'll still put down the 250, even if I don't have a use for the ring. It just looks really cool.

Did they say how much shipping will be? I’m sure it’s easily $40-50 minimum

Needed a first time in the line figure in it. I don't know who they would choose but it would of maybe helped a bit.

Man, I’m going to be really bummed if this doesn’t reach the goal. 5,000 is nothing. The Razor Crest did more than 28K. The Sentinel just did over 21K. Galactus has almost 8K and it’s only been up for a weekend. All of these things comfortably more expensive than this set.

Out of curiosity, I checked where sales are on Haslab items. It looks like ebay prices are around 100-120% above what the items sold for, and that seems pretty consistent across across lines and price points.
The more I look at this, the more I like the product. Going off of prices for some other UE figures, I could see Diesel hitting $70-100, possibly higher if he's packaged in box like the other figures in the line.
The stage is the centerpiece of the item, so no question in my mind that will hold value.
To me the ring is the huge question mark. Is this scale/build exclusive to this item? If not and they're intending to release it multiple times, then I think that tanks the value on this set. Look at what happened with the WCT rings once there were a million versions available and the market was saturated. I think those rings eventually ended up around under $40 at one point.

The one issue I could see is it goes up the same day a lot of pre-orders do so some might feel more inclined to put money into those if they have to chose.

Anyone on the fence should honestly see this as an investment piece, you can pick and choose any of the parts you want and simply sell the bits you don't.
I do it with NECA's Lootcrate stuff. Selling one figure pays for the entire series and then some. If you don't want Diesel, someone on ebay who didn't want to cough up the money will pay through their nose for it. The prices on Ultimate Bret/Warrior etc are already insane.

I think what could get this over the hump is the added items for each tier reached.

I'm assuming we're looking at a 40-60 day pre-order window. You'll absolutely have a rush of Day 1 orders, but that also gives some time for folks to save or make plans over a couple of paydays if needed. You'll also see some new orders come in if/when it crosses over any of the bonus tiers.

I’m putting my money where my mouth is and totally going in on this thing! For anyone on here moaning, you’ll be the ones complaining a year or two from now that you want one but don’t want to pay the secondary market price.
