You’re right…A Jeff Jarrett UE figure with light up glasses would shelf warm for ever. The fact that you think midcarder Jeff Jarrett would be a hot ticket item at a $30+ mass retail price point shows where you sit on the unrealistic FANtasy vs business reality spectrum. Tatanka and Doink are getting an UE figure. Jeff Jarrett is a bigger star than them.

Tatanka was debunked by Steve, and Doink is a hardly comparable crowd-funding stretch goal that took Randy Savage to even get reached.

That’s true, but Doink is an exclusive for very hardcore consumers, and I don’t know if they’ve announced what the release plan is for Tatanka. Regardless, I wouldn’t expect either of them to fly off the shelves at Target. Like the Ricky Steamboat Defining Moments figure, expensive hardcore collector stuff doesn’t usually = bricks and mortar retail success.

Or that we would get Jeff with “light up glasses” when we can’t even get bret with pink glasses In principle, I totally would love a max moon, a mantaur…hell a Mike shaw 2 in 1 figure with friar Ferguson but if you remove the robe he has bastian booger underneath would be amazing but it would be amazing for me and 5 other people.

So you buy 3 figures a year? Cool Considering I started collecting a few years ago it's more than that. Catching up on Legends I missed and still plenty of first time figures for current roster. Well, considering you only buy 1 of each guy, and Mattel literally only does re paints, that shouldn’t be hard to do, I mean you may get 4 FTITL legends each year, if that.

Yeah I've been able to track down most Legends or older talent already so excluding current roster the only people I still need are Akeem and Martel. I also buy the same person more than once if they are different eras and look different enough like The Undertaker or a different gimmick or character like Godfather and Kamma. I'd say I right now I probably buy one to four figures per wave most being current roster.

From a design and figure standpoint, I'm generally happy about the news. I still think Mattel WWE Elite is one of the best action figure lines out there, and I'm not wanting to start a new collection.

I'm excited that they extended their contract. Gives us more of a chance to obtain wrestlers we've never received before.
