Mattel is amazing, but of course they have their 'questionable' decisions... A lot of them.
Jazwares are really hit & miss. I've wanted to get so many figures from the line, but the final product just doesn't look good.
I'm really hoping the upcoming Jay White doesn't disappoint. He's one that i've wanted a figure of for years.

My Late older brother was watching the May 30th 2008 SmackDown, it was the go home SD before One Night Stand 2008. I was 7 years old starting summer vacation and was beyond intrigued. I stayed up and watched it with my older brother. Edge-The Undertakers closing cutting edge segment had me hooked. Was taken back by Edge being this cool dressed rockstar that was a sleeze ball and I found my favorite superstars Within weeks Iβm watching Monday Night Raw/SD Consistently after the 2008 Draft. Soon I realized there was ECW and my mom was channel surfing one night and found TNA Impact and soon I was watching wrestling 4 nights week. Soon Anytime my parents bought me a toy itβs gonna be wrestler. And I slowly grew out of 2003 Era Ninja TurtlesMy brother had all the N64 Games and we didnβt have money for PlayStation or Xbox. Soon I discovered what was WCW Via that and was confused asking my brother why TNAS Sting was in WCW and hulk hogan?? Lol Then I found WWF No Mercy and was even more confused what WWF was since it basically was like everyone in the WWE ππ Pretty much at that point I ate slept and breathed Wrestling. Forever blessed by god for stumbling in on my late older brother. I kinda discovered the ICW, Wrestling figure community pretty young around 2011-2012. And sorta became in-tuned with the booking and more smark stuff. I miss talking to my older brother about storylines and booking; he kept up with the main event scene of the product pretty active. And we watched WM XXX together. He also was the first one to explain the Montreal screw job to me 2003 Turtles was my big thing before wrestling too! That and DBZ, both of which eventually took a back seat to wrestling.

I was 8 years old at the time. Christmas Day 2006, my brother got Smackdown vs Raw 2007. At the time, i knew the phrase 'wrestling' and always thought of it as just a tussle with someone, i had no idea what 'Professional Wrestling' was or that it was a whole industry. I loved fighting games like DBZ & Tekken, so seeing that this was another fighting game peaked my interest. The days following, i watched him play it and eventually asked if i could, but in typical sibling fashion, any time i tried to look at it or ask if i could play it, my brother would respond with the "No, it's my game, you can't play it".
January 1st 2007, my brother was at his friends house for the day, so i decided i'd just go and play it while he was out. From memory, the first song i heard was 'Forgive Me' or 'Lonely Train'. After navigating the menu and getting to the character select, i remember going through the roster & being so intrigued by all the cool looking renders. I eventually settled on Triple H, then when he was making his entrance, i thought it was the coolest thing with the multi coloured lights, badass song, jacked guy with cool hair & a mean face, and then the water spit. Into the match, i had no idea what the controls were so i just made it up as i went & tried. By this point i think i was sold on 'wrestling'.
Later that day, as i heard the garage opening & my brother home, i turned it off and acted as if i never played it. A few days or a weekish later, he must have 'grown out' of wrestling, so i eventually claimed the SvR07 and played it nonstop. One of my early favourites that i always loved to play as was Booker T.
From there i only got into wrestling more, before eventually getting my first figures on my birthday in April, and from there the rest is history.

Heel John Cena (managed by Boa) vs Heel Rey Mysterio (Managed by Wendy Choo & Jagger Reid) for only 1 NXT Tag Team Championship in the second last match on an NXT Takeover show.
Perfect.

I used to keep all the Elite boxes, just so when my collection went back into storage, they at least had a safe spot to be stored.
But more recently, i only keep certain boxes. Some Ultimate's, so i can use the side panels for display purposes, and the Brodie Lee & Negative 1 box for the back graphic on display.
Otherwise, i just separate the cardboard & plastic, then get rid of them in the waste/recycle accordingly.

Had both Ultimate Razor's arrive today, so i threw the extra heads on the Green Elite to see how they looked. I ended up keeping the smirking head on this Razor, but all of them add that little bit extra to the look. When i get a chance, i'll see how they all look on the Legends 7 Razor too.

I do both for certain guys i collect. I have my Ruthless Aggression shelves, then other collections for the like of The Hardyz, CM Punk, Razor etc... If it's an attire that fits into the RA shelves, i'll get multiple to display in both. One example: I got 3 of the Survivor Series Elite Jeff Hardy so i could put one on the RA Raw shelf, one on the Jeff Hardy shelf, and the 3rd to customise & also put on the Jeff Hardy shelf. Another is the 2nd UE John Cena, where i got one for the Raw shelf, and one for the ECW shelf. (Posting this pic for the 100th time)

2002 is my favourite era of The Rock.
His look, theme, and build. So every time i see the WrestleMania X8 Elite, the more i want to get it.

Voted Eddie because i was actually intending to buy it.
The more i look at it, the more comically bad it becomes.

(im)patiently waiting for my two to show up... Probably two of my most anticipated figures that i've ever bought, up there with the RA Elite HBK.
Ordered both versions from Ringside, but the tracking number provided is 'invalid', so i have no idea how far away it is or anything. Hoping they arrive soon.

I think we can all finally agree that someone or Mattel in general is colorblind. I still can't get over salmon Bret, ginger hair that's supposed to be blonde and multiple other screw ups where we have to call out the color choices. The red hair when it's supposed to be blonde bothers me the most. SOO many Edge & HBK heads ruined by that red hair.

Good to see that Billy Gunn is still available.
Would love to see his Elite 27 figure re-done in the Greatest Hits line.

I've done this for a World Heavyweight Championship for my King Booker. I, like most people also think the Jakks plates are far better than Mattel's, so i gave the swap a go a few years ago with Jakks Big Gold plates, on a Mattel NWO/Big Gold strap. In true Jakks fashion, the plates are a bit bigger than the strap, but it still works with some minor adjusting (I also probably did an average job of it). On the strap, you'll need to cut a bit off so the plates can hook on, since Jakks & Mattel used different styles. Excuse the average pics, took them real quick, and the title is kind of stuck in that shape now from sitting in the same pose for so long.
