It's not really clear in this topic, but it shows MOC Smash'n'Slam Goldbergs with all 3 variants of "Masked Wrestler".

Unknown, but would assume Fritz as well. What about Lance? When PowerTown figures were mentioned at their start only the "real" Von Erich family (so the Adkisson family) was brought up.

UK/Europe is a different story: it only appeared on regular J-hook card, while the other series 2 figures appeared on butterfly-hook card. I didn’t ever see Dusty in the UK and was buying from Woolworths, Toys r Us and a department store that had them. I only got my Dusty as a friend’s Dad worked in the US quite a bit and had got it for him. I bought it from him around 1993 for £4 as he wasn’t into Hasbros anymore. He was released in the UK; I've seen J-hook cards with Hasbro UK info on the back (printed, not a sticker). From Children's Palace I believe.

They are technically not. Been pushing AAA for years to release their own figure line, nothing yet so far. Although are you wanting a La Parka or LA Park? La Parka. The WCW one. So that would be L.A. Park; he was forced to change his ring name from "La Parka" to "L.A. Park" (short for La Auténtica Park; "The Original Park") in early 2003 when AAA owner Antonio Peña asserted his copyright claims to the La Parka character.

Not so sure about that: Dusty came on normal card, on SummerSlam card and on Bonus action card card. Those all have the same Dusty picture on it. He was definitely next to impossible to find in the UK. I didn't manage to get him until I became an adult and found ebay! UK/Europe is a different story: it only appeared on regular J-hook card, while the other series 2 figures appeared on butterfly-hook card.

Got the email and read it, the catch is “when all containers arrive” is when stuff starts to ship, so i wonder how long that will take!? Good catch, I try to warn the forum members of how they are being manipulated but my posts keep getting deleted by the PTB. Containers at the docks or even shipping from China to them is beyond their control. These are just small companies, but even bigger companies have practically no control over containers just waiting at the docks; containers filled with new cars can just sit at the docks for more than 8 weeks, before the cars arrive at the dealerships. Big companies probably have a ship full of containers filled with their products. Small companies probably have just part of a container filled with their products, ships don't travel with just one partly filled container. So, no, you're NOT being manipulated; you're just acting like a spoiled little brat trying to cause a stir. THAT'S why your posts get deleted. If you can't cope with the fact that small companies can't pump out figures and deliver as fast as the big companies, than don't buy from them.

full of it. Dusty was a very short run figure as is, since he left the company and was packed out of the next wave Not so sure about that: Dusty came on normal card, on SummerSlam card and on Bonus action card card. Those all have the same Dusty picture on it.

Cleaned up, stay on topic! Edit: *This was formerly "The Art of Retro Figures" thread but it evolved over time into a general discussion of news, artwork, and all things from all companies!*In this thread we discuss upcoming figures popularized by the older styles of Hasbro, Popy, Galoob, and others (pre-Jakks). This topic is meant for nothing more than to discuss the looks of the figures and how you wish to display them in your collection.

Thanks for sharing both the story and the photos. It’s neat seeing wrestling figures over 50 years old. Yes, my first wrestling figures that are older than I am.

So, 12.5 years after completing my loose Popy collection I FINALLY own Bullmark figures! Bullmark figures??? Let me explain in a short introduction. In 1969 Bullmark - a japanese company - released a wrestling figure line called "World Champion Series Pro-Wrestling" for Japan Pro Wrestling Alliance (JWA was the first professional wrestling promotion to be based in Japan. It operated from 1953 to 1973.). As far as I know there are six 9.5" figures in this line: Antonio Inoki, Giant Baba, Killer X, Killer Z, Michiaki Yoshimura and Seiji Sakaguchi. So, here they are (I'm really bad at shooting pictures, so I included the headshots from the auction as well.) Killer X and Killer Z. Killer X might be Frank Townsend (aka The Singing Wrestler aka Farmer Boy); he wrestled as Killer X in JWA in 1963. After that tour in Japan he retired as a wrestler and continued his music career. On May 15, 1965, Townsend and his yacht crew were preparing to race the yacht, the Dorade, in Puget Sound, Washington. During the race, Townsend fell overboard and is believed to have drowned. His body was never found. He was 32 years old at the time of his disappearance. Killer Z is a mystery to me. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Did you know All Japan Pro-Wrestling was the first modern Japanese Wrestling promotion to release figures? Ok, you said "modern", but the first Japanese Wrestling promotion to release figures is JWA, figures by Bullmark in 1969 of: Antonio Inoki, Giant Baba, Michiaki Yoshimura, Seiji Sakaguchi and foreigner Killer X (Frank Townsend aka Mr. X).

Cheap move to simply mirror the arms. At least add Darsows tattoo than. This is really where Chella/WTC falls short compared to ZST and Grapplers. Smash didn't show the tattoo until Crush had joined Demolition. Smash needs the upper-armpad.

Haniwa Pro-Wrestling: definitely one of the weirdest wrestling items from Japan! I like obscure stuff, but I'd be afraid they'd arrive broken...

They remind me more of headliners than the HAO figures. Yes headliners/mini big heads as well. I own some Pro Wrestling NOAH mini big heads, but wasn't a big fan of those.

Saw them yesterday on the Epic Toys fb-page (I guess they make these), I don't know; for the moment they don't excite me. I thought they might be in your wheel house because I thought they have a bit of a Japanese style / vibe Sure they resemble Hao Collection or 16D, but I don't own any of those either. With these Wrestle Dudez I think it's the pose that doesn't excite me.

There's no red Tom Zenk in the Galoob line. Think there was image of one which would have been in an upcoming series That orange attire wasn't released.

Hey guys, is the Wcw Galoob figure of Z-Man ( Tom Zenk ) the only figure of him that’s ever been made? … I don’t recall ever seeing him in any other series from Wcw or Wwf/e … Just curious The white and the red Galoob versions and the Bend Em, as far as I know. There's no red Tom Zenk in the Galoob line.

Picture of the Bend-Em near the bottom of page 1 of this topicI like this attire better then the plain white. I remember seeing some of these before but never really look into them since I don't remember them as a kid. Wouldn't mind having at least Sting and Pillman tho. Sorry for worrying you but I been checking EBay for the last couple minutes looking at the Galoobs. Would you happen to know how many different Stings were made? I seen the blue, orange, black and then one with a jacket,is that it? I have the blue moc, loose and the bigger one but like to get a complete set. Yes that are all the ones Galoob produced.

Different attire: the tights were white but had blue detail with a silver "Z" in it, the boots were blue, silver, black and white. He also had silver wristbands. Thanks man,ill have to look it up. I like to have a figure with the I guess it was orange(like he's wearing on one of his trading cards) attire Picture of the Bend-Em near the bottom of page 1 of this topic
