I would, but it needs some repairs, and I don't have spare cash lying around. I'd sell my collection to pay for it, but it's worth considerably less than it was a year ago. Mr. Fusions aren't cheap...shame...

I'm ok with it as long as they don't take up regular new release elite spots

Yes yes yes yes and yes. These figures are for the fans. If your buying solely for the re-sell value then screw off. I legitimately hope that every single person who wants to find a certain figure finds one. And if they didnt, because they sold well or for whatever reason, why not give those people a second chance? They should do re-releases, but also do a chaser every other series to keep collectors happy and they should flat out say, "this is a limited figure, it will not be released again".

If there gonna re-release something make it a suited vince mcmahon... Uhh..nah..i am ok with rereleases to an EXTENT but that would be wrong to rerelease suited Vince. That was a special figure that u had to buy 4 elites to get in the mail. It is also the least produced figure besides the warrior exclusives. Would be a direct slap in the face to the folks who bought those figures just to get vince. For example 5 yrs ago Hasbro had a mail in boba fett with rocket launcher, same deal buy some figures mail in the upc's and get the figure. Wouldn't u feel cheated if Hasbro rereleased it in a few years at retail? Rereleases is what helped [not completely ruined but HELPED] the dc classics line fail. As soon as I saw series 5 and gentleman ghost rereleased I knew the line wouldn't last much longer at retail, which it didn't. I would be all for a REPAINT of vince but not a straight rerelease. Rereleases are clogging up shelves everywhere around me from bossman to the horsemen to taker. L2 kamala and L6 warrior warmed forever by me and I could still find elite23 taker when elite 33 was shipping. I love this line but I'm starting to love it less and less as the months pass. It's a shame..Nothing against u powerfred3k I was just speaking my mind brother....Rant over

DCUC went to Series 20 after 7-8 wave of DCSH and finished with 2-4 waves of Batman and DC Unlimited figures to finish it out. Before becoming Matty exclusives. So that was about 30-34 waves of DC figures. I wouldn't call that a failure. But they were out of big name heroes to keep the line going. I think after series 16 or 17 I stopped being a completest. The last few sets of DCUC they were lucky if I was interested in any of the obscure figures in the sets. It was the rereleases that kept the line going as long as it did.
As for the Vince I got three of them and I didn't buy any figure I wasn't already planning on buying to get him.

Comics are reprinted all the time, vinyls get new pressings, etc. if anything it usually makes the original print runs more valuable, which is probably what will happen here. With those, there's an easy way to tell if you have the original or a reprint. Assuming these figures are straight reissues, the first run figures will be indistinguishable from the reissues unless they're packaged. From a value standpoint, I would assume we're talking MOC and we already know the release series will have some kind of alternate packaging. Loose, they probably would be indistinguishable (though if they're newly produced I wonder if the year stamp might be updated) but TBH I really don't see why that would bother anyone who already has them loose to begin with. Of course I guess I don't really get the whole mentality of being bothered by it in the first place.

Good. Saves me money and time. Don't need to hunt for stuff I already have. Rerelease everything. Make that money.

I love it because I don't think people realize just how hard it was to find some of these figures when they first came out. Now, if you truly want to find a figure you'll eventually come across it. Stores get way more shipments and it seems like every case has every figure. Back then, before I think maybe elite 24 or so, some stores would only get one shipment, if that, and sometimes the cases wouldn't even have some figures. I remember seeing elite 9 once, having to search far and wide for elite 12 kane, unable to find elite booker and mankind. As a collector, I don't care about resale value. If every figure was hard to find then I might because it would give me leverage, but now that I can find whatever I want, I want them to release these hard figures I never saw. I want the figures because they're good, not because I want to make a quick buck. Bring em on I say.

Here's what I don't understand. People who love rereleases love em because they don't have those figures. But why didn't they buy them the first time around? Most of these figures could have been found easily with a little bit of hunting or online at RSC by paying a little more. Why cater to the customer who couldve already purchased this figure and passed but now having regrets? not everyone has been collecting since the beginning. Some of these figures came out over five years ago. Some people take breaks. And some people did collect and couldn't find them. These figures weren't always this easy to find and anybody who collected during the time some of these came out know this. I have collected ever since they got the license and no matter how hard I looked, I never found booker, diesel, mankind, bambam etc. They weren't always as widespread as they are now. Many stores flat out skipped series, while others only got one case and that case sometimes might not even have all the figures from the series. Times werent the same.

I don't mind re-releasing figures as long as they make sense, for example it was a popular figure and collectors constantly request it, or if it was short packed 1 per case which made it hard to find. I try my best to pick up all the figures I want the first time around, but sometimes you don't have money, can't find it, or change your mind on the figure and regret not buying it.

I'm all for it. I always collect one of each wrestler in elite style. Sometimes I'll pass on a repaint. Nice to know they might come around again.

Curious what the overall thoughts are on mattel re releasing older popular figures? me personally I try to look at both the positive and negatives. the positive is obviously that the people who missed out on the figures the first time get a second chance and don't have to pay a crazy amount for it. the negative IMO is that if you had the figures already they were something that stood out in your collection and now with a lot of the more sought after figures being re released it kind of takes away from that a little bit. IMO if they want to re release then maybe go the way of the new HOF King Booker that's coming out. he has different colored attire vs the flashback version same with kevin nash .that way you can still have a king booker or kevin nash without it taking away from the first release. At the end of the day though im still glad the people who missed out the first time get a 2nd chance. I completely agree. I think if they tweaked the colors or design slightly, they'd be better off. I'm a MOC Completist and will buy them all but knowing there's a difference besides packaging won't make me cringe as much.
