We saw Andre try to give us a Hogan one last time before hanging it up.
The night was without question a sight to behold in a mixture of positive and controversial occurrences. But nothing can compare with watching the constant of our universe. The truest warrior of us all, lumber back into the darkness from whence he came.
After 27 years raging against the dying of the light. The master of darkness has marched into the night.

Thanks for tagging me! I'll have my ring post up soon! I'd recommend buying cooling racks and metal snips and making guardrails.

How many times have you watched a match, entrance, interview, observed a program/angle where you observed something that could have been simplified or traded for a simpler option that could've gone over significantly better?

Hello everyone! I recently bought John Cena and Brock Lesnar RETRO figures since I couldn't in good conscience play with 20 year old figures that deserve to be preserved. Moving on! I find them quite enjoyable, even compared to basics and elites, they have their own unique charm which I feel justifies my desire to have a small roster of them. I'm planning on building a 14 x 14" ring for them, but I wanted some thoughts on interesting accessories for them. Any custom ideas or suggestion of manufactured items is appreciated. I'll post pictures of the ring as I build it.
I would also like to say how I missed being a part of this great forum.

I had this same idea, but my execution wasn't a 10th as good as this. Great job!

Because the more I think about how my body will not comply with my desire to actually wrestle, the more I long for death. Being able to use my figures to actualize my desired match ideas in some form helps me go on.

If these were 3 or 4 inches tall, I'd love them.

I like it. Simple, yet effective. I'm bit familiar with those figures but they look pretty cool too. I can have a green power ranger stand in for Jushin Thunder Liger. You're darn right they're cool! Hahaha! Seriously though, thank you for commenting!!!

i wonder how good this ring would look against Build N Brawlers The only adjustment that would need to be made is Ringpost height & spacing out the turnbuckles. I have a Ring where I did just that for my 4 inch style figures. I'll post it soon.

Long story short, I collect Imaginext figures as miniature wrestlers. This is a Ring I built for them. It's built completely from scratch. Close-up of the ringposts/turnbuckles. This figure of a SteamPunk Engineer is the one I use to represent me in the fantasy promotion. Here he is standing in the corner for scale. The classic "figure corpse row" measuring picture. The Diagonal version.

Contrary to popular opinion, I'm dying for this line to become THE line behind Elites & Basics. That would be fantastic.

I am so excited for these figures! As long as these are under 8 dollars, I'll be happy. 5.99 would be ideal, but I'm not that naive,
Given the current rosters & legends under Mattel's jurisdiction, I am emphatic about this toy line!!! I already have my mat rials todpgether to build custom rings, arenas, cages, & so on!

I trust HHH honestly I think he knows most are gettin called up and it's time for a new era in nxt As much as I don't like seeing The Messiah of The Backbreaker leave, I agree with you. NXT needs veterans from the territories to be profitable. There are occasional home-growns who draw, but they are not yet the norm.

Guys who should have been main eventing or getting their time to really shine; Morrison, Benjamin, Masters, Kennedy, Ted DiBiase jr., Cody Rhodes, Alex Riley, MVP, Carlito, ect. Guys who WERE main eventing; Big Show, Triple H, Cena, Taker, Michaels, Orton (to an extent), Kane, ect. Has there ever been an era in wrestling where the past generations main guys just kept going instead of taking a backseat? This issue is a combination of factors. Most wrestlers never want to quit, be it out of pride or greed, so they use the rookies' naivety to maintain their image. There are several veterans, on the other hand who do their best to help the youth who need guidance, both to preserve the wrestling profession, and help the young wrestlers who want it most & for the right reasons. The second problem is the promoters. Now when I say promoters, I literally mean the person in charge of running the promotion. A promotion's booker & promoter should be two completely different people. To crown a wrestler that has proven to crack under pressure, be unprofessional, or in any way untrustworthy in the eyes of the powers that be, they've basically eliminated themselves as an option for the promoter. No Soldier is going to break out the faulty gun first, unless it's their last resort. If you ever find yourself as a "Last Resort" Main Event/Championship Match participant, you've either failed to put forth the effort needed in training, been extremely unprofessional, or it could simply be backstage politics & poor judgement from the decision-makers. At any rate, most of the stars from the previous 5 to 7 year period in WWE either didn't fit their vision, or were lacking certain skills that no top wrestler should be missing. This is both the fault of the individual talent & the bookers failing to use the tried & true mindset of a smart territorial promoter. I will summarize the mindset through an anecdote from Jim Ross. Jim was working as Bill Watts' right hand man in the Mid-South territory, when he was ordered to scout the matches of Junkyard Dog, & report back to Watts asap. Ross proceeded to travel from show to show, observing JYD's various bouts with the expressed intent of examining his in-ring abilities. When he made the call, he explained the many glaring flaws in JYD's mat-game acumen, to which he received the following response, which I will now paraphrase. "Jim, I didn't want you to find out what he couldn't do, I already knew that! I needed you to help me find out what he CAN do." If Vince focused on accentuating the positives, & hiding the negatives of his stars, he would have the fortune he leaves on the table every year.

Death to the BulletClub. I want it to end in every promotion. It needs to die. I Donno I was just watching raw and saw them beat John Cena and for some reason I just wanted Fin To debut and help them beat down Cena, he needs his call up already. And what does that amount to? Kevin Steen did that. He was derailed & put back on the tracks again regardless of the occurrence. Remember when various people tried to beat down Hogan to get over in the late 80s/early 90s and it ALMOST ALWAYS backfired? Same problem happens with Cena. There are exceptions in both cases, but why risk? Finn Balor is better than simply being a hand in the club. The Faction is a cancer. WWE does not need multiple 4 man factions. Hell, when The Shield & The Wyatt family were the only two factions going, it already felt crowded. The Bullet Club needs to remain the way it is, then die once A.J. becomes a hero again.

This is hilariously bad, but, how is it Mattel related? The meme references a wildly popular Mattel figure.
