I think the attire is complete as it is but the high back cut white boots really make it look odd. The main outlier for me is the lack of a right elbow pad. Looks so incomplete.

One of the worst main events in WrestleMania history. When the defending champ is the "plus one" of the feud you've screwed up big time. I love HHH, but his main event track record on the big stage is not the greatest. Don't think I've ever fully woken up from being in attendance for that WrestleMania 25 stinker versus Orton. 😴 Another stinker that's blamed on the match before but it was ZERO to do with it. That match was doomed to suck regardless because of the lame booking, but the fact that they had to follow an all-time classic like Hogan/Rock gave them absolutely no shot in hell.

Nothing could have saved that main event aside from a complete reversal of booking. Crowd didn't care about the feud One of the worst main events in WrestleMania history. Hate to be that guy because I really do enjoy a good technical wrestling match, but this event absolutely needed some kind of TLC match.
Rock versus Hogan is absolutely incredible and probably the only reason to ever rewatch the event. However, everything else was just so damn forgettable on the card especially when you consider that it was sandwiched between two bangers in WrestleMania X7 and WrestleMania XIX.

If I recall correctly, it wasn't as much of an absolute squash as her match against Ivory at WrestleMania X7, but Chyna didn't break much of a sweat against Lita either. She was booked so damn strong which I kind of understand although the one-sided structure of the match felt awkward considering it was face versus face. Lita was SUPER over at the time as well.
I have to assume that both sides figured they would be able to come to some kind of contractual agreement sooner than later which is why they kept the belt on her. However, between her steep asking price added to the HHH/Stephanie dilemma it just wasn't meant to be. Such a shame when you think about it that Chyna left when she was at her peak and never stepped foot in a WWF/WWE ring again.

He'd be an awesome figure, but I don't see him having a ton of marketing value to WWE. He had a (relatively) short run, a single gimmick, and the main acts he was associated with (E&C, Hardys) aren't available right now. That doesn't mean it's totally off limits - you could argue the Headbangers were in the same boat. But they probably have a set number of slots for Legends deals and he's probably not somebody that checks all the boxes. They made The Goon. As long as they aren't in an Owen or Benoit scenario, I say never say never.

We lost Owen 25 years ago - May 23, 1999.
I was 11 at the time and watching the PPV with my brother in his room as was our monthly tradition. Such a surreal night. JR announcing his death on the live broadcast still cuts right through you to this day.
He was only 34. Seemed so much older back then, but as someone who turns 37 in a few weeks it really puts it in perspective just how young Owen was. Rest in peace, King of Harts!

His rivalry with Bret was incredible and probably the hottest feud in wrestling in 1993.
Their whole segment/match - even including the Doink stuff - at SummerSlam is just 100% classic pro wrestling entertainment at its finest. Lawler had nuclear heat and the fans just wanted to see Bret beat the crap out of him.

Scooped up a Doink on Mercari.
Done trying to hunt these things down at Walmart. Most of the stores around me don't even stock this series. I'll gladly eat the $12 disparity and chalk it up as a worthy convenience fee.
Incredible figure!!! Can't wait for Tatanka.

Wrestling Bios is up there with OSW and Wrestling With Wregret in my opinion.
He puts out great content regularly and goes into great detail. The "Reliving the War" series is fantastic. He even donated 100% of the revenue generated from his 1999 Over the Edge and Raw is Owen recaps to the Owen Hart Foundation.
I also enjoy that he covers all things wrestling for example he dropped a new review just this afternoon discussing the 90s video game Saturday Night Slam Masters.
👍👍

That Terry Gordy is such a solid figure, but it's hard to not notice how skinny/jacked he is. He was a big boy.

Has anyone tried putting the Bell to Bell Big Poppa Pump singlet on an elite? Curious to see how it would fit if possible. I don't have it, but just by the looks it is going to be SUPER baggy on an Elite figure.

I understand the desire for a "serious"DDP, and truthfully I want one to be made for the people here who have wanted one for so long, but let's not make it sound like DDP smiling was only a 2002 WWE thing. Smiling and etc. was just as big a part of his WCW gimmick as being "serious." Part of why he got so over in 97/98 was because, to paraphrase one of his catchphrases, he was consistently "jacked up" by the fans. Again, not saying he wasn't serious too, nor am I saying they shouldn't make a serious head, but the smiling heads haven't been out of character for his WCW run. I agree 100%. When I envision "serious DDP" the first image that actually pops in my head is his WWF debut when he revealed himself as the stalker. Understandably, I see the desire for a more neutral expression, but I don't think these smiling scans exclusively scream "that's a good thing" DDP. 😁

Why was the crowd so quiet during Nakano's entrance? Seemed like they were distracted; was something else going on in the arena? Since he was expected to be the main event induction and surprisingly opened the show, I think a lot of people left right after Heyman's speech. They had just sat through an entire episode of SmackDown! and probably took it as a chance to hit the exits early since most have activities all throughout the weekend. Doing the Hall of Fame ceremony right after a live event like that is pretty rough. Six hours sitting for anything is a big ask even for your most dedicated fans so they probably thought getting Heyman on ASAP was the best option. You could immediately tell right afterwards how quiet the crowd was and even the wrestlers at ringside looked completely wiped. The lack of star power following Heyman really hurt the energy of the show. When an event runs close to 1AM though I guess it doesn't matter who headlines as the audience is just kind of over it at that point. Congrats to the inductees as they all are deserving, but if you are a more casual fan who went to bed after Heyman you didn't miss much. Very happy for my girl, Bull, though as she was actually one of the first female wrestlers I ever saw growing up in the New Gen era.

If true we’re just missing Matador Tito, Kona Crush, and Giant Gonzales right? Backlund, Bret and Tatanka don’t have their gears from that night released yet if you wanna be specific If we are including people from dark matches, then I think it is only fair to mention Luna Vachon since she made her WWF debut at that PPV and would make for a killer figure. And as much of a diehard that I am for both Bret and Tatanka, I'd much rather see a new Kona Crush or Giant Gonzalez instead.

Welp finished up with Heymans speech, great stuff. Anything else worth watching in this ceremony? Heyman was awesome. I thought Bull had a heartfelt speech you can tell she was very honored to be there. Other than that and no disrespect to the inductees, it was the worst HOF since they started airing these live 20 years ago.
