33.5 and I’ve slowed down a lot recently. I still collect, but mainly character from 2005 and back (and even then I’m not grabbing multiples of the same character despite attire differences).

Drop down hips never work, not even on expensive import figures. Over time they always get loose and you end up with wobbly legs that won’t stay in the correct position, or worse, legs that fall off due to multiple little pieces used to create this feature.
Get rid of toe articulation as well. Another piece of articulation that most companies fail to implement correctly.

I’m not a fan of 2-night shows, and don’t think this would have helped WM18. HHH/Jericho was a terrible feud and nothing was going to save the match outside of it going on before Hogan/Rock (and even then HHH/Jericho have had plenty of better matches than this one).

Lesnar/Big Show from 2003 is a fun match with a cool ending. Nash/HHH isn’t anything to write home about but the power bomb through the announce table was brutal.

One of my favorites. Great Eddie/Rey and MITB ladder matches, Orton/Taker is good, HHH/Batista is underrated, and Angle/HBK is an all timer banger. The only matches I really didn’t care for are Cena/JBL, Big Show/Akebono, and the woman’s title match. Also crazy that they couldn’t find a spot for Booker T on the card and that he got stuck on the pre-show. All great matches. It would have been cool for Booker to get on the show. It sucked that he was left out. Yeah it’s hard to find a spot for him considering every top star seemed to be in some type of feud. I’d have just thrown him in MITB and said Teddy Long was able to secure one Smackdown guy for the inaugural match.

The Raw right at the start of 1997 (actually taped in December 96) when he faces Vader with Michaels behind the mic. Thanks! I totally forgot about this one. Won’t lie it is weird seeing a tweener Bret wearing all pink.

Anyone know the last time Bret Hart wore his all-pink attire? I don’t think he ever wore that combo in WCW and the last time I recall him wearing it in the WWF was at Survivor Series 1995.
The all-pink attires were my favorites and I wish he wore it more towards the end of his career.

WWF/E:
- 1994 - 1997 - 1998 - 2000 - 2003
WCW:
- 1992 - 1993 - 1996 - 1997 - 1998

Im up to July 1998 now...WCW is quite literally the same thing weekly. But why would they change...even though Raw is beating them in the ratings they are still getting over a 4.0 in the ratings and The Wolfpac is over huge. Bischoff even admits himself he missed a trick there not listening to Hall & Nash about the group, name and its membership. I believe it may have been from a Nash shoot where he says originally tension between Hogan and Nash was suppose to build following Starrcade ‘97, but “that didn’t work” for Hogan as he wanted the nWo to stay together…however a week later all of a sudden they’re running with Macho Man as the one stepping up to Hogan. Nash says it was originally planned to be Nash/Hall going against Hogan/Macho but Hogan thought the Wolfpac had too many “cool guys” so they kept Hall with him. Crazy how despite all the randomness that the Wolfpac still got over big. I’ll always say that Sting joining never made sense, and the quick Hennig join/turn was dumb, but nothing was cooler than Nash, Macho, Luger, and Konnan donning the red and black that summer.

Aways loved Lawler, and he’s every bit as important as JR was to the company during the 90s and 00s. He came off as more “real” than most other announcers, and his feud with Bret gave us a few classic moments.

Love this series and the Wrestling Bios page in general. Been watching for years and it’s easy to throw one of his videos on in the background while doing other stuff.

It’s a random one but I always thought his Survivor Series 2004 attire with the black/yellow combo was great.

Egh - I give it a C.
I like Bret/HBK more than others, but there are better Iron Man matches. Diesel/Taker had no right being as entertaining as it was, but I’d put it towards the middle of Taker’s WM matches. Razor not being on the show hurt as well.

I was listening to Something to Wrestle With on Kevin Nash recently, and Conrad brings up a good point regarding LT and Diesel - why the hell wouldn’t they have their new face of the company interact with the big celebrity for WM that year? Had Hogan been there, you know that him and LT would have done something together. But with Diesel - nothing. Hell, his match with HBK was treated as an afterthought despite being for the world title and early in Diesel’s title run.
It’s like they lost all interest in Diesel before WM11. Bruce even said that Vince saw Shawn as his next face of the company immediately following this match (and the fact that he turned babyface the next night - throwing all of Diesel’s booking out the window). Since this was the case, why not turn Diesel heel? That’s what got him over in the first place.
Just a total head scratcher that they didn’t use LT’s mainstream popularity to help Diesel when we know Hogan would have been all over that.

I still love this show. I’d give it a B since there’s a lot of “egh” on the card, but Bret/Owen and HBK/Razor still hold up today as all time greats. Bret winning the title was the cherry on top, and while Luger/Yoko wasn’t anything great in the ring, I was a fan of both and enjoyed their feud.

Honestly, I don’t think Time/Warner cared. Regardless of whether WCW was doing good or bad, they just didn’t care to have wrestling on their network regardless of the night it was on.
Hell, even before the merger Bischoff has said that the writing was on the wall that Ted was the only “corporate head” that cared for it. Nobody else gave a damn about WCW or wrestling in general.

Hoping for a 1999 Hulkster when he beat Savage for the belt on Nitro. Those red-flame boots were great.
Road Wild 1999 would be an easy one for them. Just need to add red to the one knee pad.
2000 Millionaires Club would be a cool “street gear” Hogan.

I seemed to have missed this and can't find the answer. What colour attire is eddie going to be in for the from the vault series 2? It’s his Legends Series 6 figure tbh. Crazy. Honestly after they botched his ultimate figure I’m glad we’ll Atleast get this with a better torso (despite being an elite rather than a UE).
